DUDE WEED

I don't normally give a shit about weed but I do care about actual politics and politicians. Take a break from your cuck threads and getting baited by shills and talk about real politics for a second.

So this shit is apparently supposed to be all done by 2018. So to all Canadians and anyone who is interested: were the rumors true that Justin Trudeau purposely left this off to coincide with the next elections to get reelected? I assume he will get reelected simply by going "yeah you gotta elect me again or DUDE WEED is dead forever! Vote for me, eh?" This was the plan all along, wasn't it?

Yes and no.

It's surprisingly difficult to legalize because we signed treaties with countries like the US to say it'll stay illegal. We have to find ways to legally get around said treaties.

Once it's legalized, there's no going back. Making it illegal again would be like putting prohibition back on alcohol.

Yes it was.

He did the exact same thing with every promise that got him elected

ie: he promised to rework our electoral model and he dropped it stating we where not ready for it

The province here are mad because he's deflecting the responsibility of the legalization to the province directly with no financing.

What a fkn scam the liberals party can be.

I hope not, I've got all my savings invested in the DUDEWEEDLMAOFUCKINGLEAF stock market.

Cannabis causes long term schizophrenia
prepare to see it hit epidemic levels in 30ish years

The Cons and the NDP were really against a new electoral system, along with the majority of people.

but where is the proofs

I quit 5 years ago but I smoked 4-6 ounces a month and never developed schizophrenia.

...

cannabis does help ppl predisposed to schizophrenia to develop it faster

the key word is predisposed

where the fuck do you take your majority of people at ? if i remember correctly we elected Trudeau with a majority exactly so he could do that.... Who care about the NPD really ? The cons are dead with the toy soldier.

A myth long since debunked. Truth is, however, that people with predispositions for schizo are worsened by it, so accessibility will probably still shows some increase of patients. Normal people don't get schizophrenia from smoking though.

The majority of people as in over 50%?

The Liberals got less than 40% of the popular vote.

fuck off
reforming our elections was the only thing I wanted Trudeau to do

instead he drops it because "eliminating first past the post enables people to get elected on dangerous extremist platforms" ie. FPTP is good because it disenfranchises everyone who doesn't vote Lib or Tory

Most didn't vote for him for that reason, they just wanted Harper gone.

I always found it hilarious when he said frequent polling by his administration said no one wanted to get rid of FPTP, despite the extremely large outcry from him saying he isn't changing it, and he never actually did any polling

lets me guess you're from the West and saw a cons pol and you thought that 50% was real ?

anyway i think all of them didn really want it ... they just try to stop the the massive lost of credibility of our political class

i think they lie about the participation % in election most ppl i know doesn vote anymore

most people didn't vote for him for any reason, meaning that his retarded "we don't know if anyone actually wants it" excuse was bullshit

IF PEOPLE DON'T WANT WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATFORM, THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED NDP YOU DUMB SHIT

I'm from rural Ontario. It might as well be out west but my Conservative MP is dumb as a bag of hammers.
Do you realize how fucking retarded a reformed system would be? It'd be virtually impossible for any single party to get a majority government unless they make voting absolutely mandatory.

>Do you realize how fucking retarded a reformed system would be?
better than first past the fucking post giving me 3 identical neoliberal kikes and a socialist nutbag to choose between

Ah yes, so you'd get a mix of neoliberal kikes and socialist nutbags that run the country through a coalition. Or a super-lefty coalition between the liberals and NDP.

You really haven't thought this through, have you?

or the more likely option, which is that the centrist parties would be forced to combine or radicalize in order to win votes now that party affiliation matters more

No. It only increases the chances of schizoprenia in people predisposed to it, and if I recall correctly, only when it is taken during adolescence when the brain is still developing.

They wouldn't combine or radicalize. There's no other political parties that would combine with the Cons, maybe the Bloc but they get so few seats it wouldn't even matter.

An NDP-Liberal coalition would probably run the country for decades.

>people predisposed to it
Like, genetically?

Familys with a history of Schizoprenia, yes

>The 43rd Canadian federal election (formally the 43rd Canadian general election) is scheduled to take place on or before October 21, 2019
i doubt they're going to overshoot july 2018 by that far
