1/32 Hungarian

I am 1/32 Hungarian, is it wrong to identify with this side of my blood?

I have delved into what I could find from my archives of my family, and whilst my grand-grandparent who is 1/4 Hungarian comes from a wealthy and educated family (in early 20th century's Romania it was a big deal to be educated and wealthy). The other grandparents originate from poor villages from Moldavia (I am a Moldavian myself, I don't have any forebears in any other region, besides that Hungarian ancestor) and were poorly educated.

Now I would like to identify myself with the Hungarian ancestor, because having a man who helped building a great empire of a great influence here in eastern Europe seems more appealing to me than identifying with slavo-balkan thralls from Moldavia.

>actually thinking hungary did anything in austria hungary

(((Sweden))) thinking.

Romanon, i am 1/8 hungarian. I think you can associate with any country as long as you have atleast 1 ancestor with that country.

This is a well known "argument", but from 1848 to 1867 Hungary was a large country by itself and it could sustain. Hungarians were the ones who controlled Vojvodina, Croatia, Slovakia and Trnasylvania with an iron hand.

Do you also associate with Hungary?

Yes, they are bro-tier country. Would gladly defend it if needed.

How are Hungarians received in your country? Here, people are really hateful towards them (as well as Hungarians are towards Romanians in Hungary) and I would find it hard to integrate.

>hard to integrate
didnt stop you from forcefully integrating millions by changing names not having their children speak hungarian ect

Really well, they love them.
I had a chemistry teacher back in elementary school that was Hungarian, he was awesome.
Not a single class of his was boring.

I didn't know exactly what you meant. Use some commas.

So they are loved in Croatia even if they ruled over your country? That's weird.

I said that you still forcefully integrated millions of hungarians.

Yes, we did, as well as some Romanians were forcefully turned Catholic and made to speak Hungarian in public places. Every Transylvanian has at least 1/64 Hungarian blood.

we shared the same kingdom for like 800 years and they had their own bans and viceroys
croatia had a pretty nice semi-independent status within the hungarian state and save for their role in the 1848 revolution they were bro-tier countrymen

Sucks, I wish Romanians and Hungarians would get along better here. I had a bunch of friends who were Hungarian and we got along just fine.

Hungarians helped us with food and education when we needed it.

>hard to integrate
kek
>forcefully integrating millions by changing names
nobody is forcing them into being cucked and changing their name to the opposite side of the family
on teaching children to speak hungarian i agree it's dumb, it's wasteful to not teach your kid a second language especially if one of the parents knows it.

Oh, I understand now. Transylvanians have shared the same kingdom (and empire afterwards) for like 800 years too. Well, our role in the 1848 revolution was as an enemy.

We do get along on the internet, it's just banter. I wish there were more anime girls depicting Hungarians and Romanians...

>education

So they brought socialism to your country? Free education is a meme.

I was refering to post trianon times

My ancestors have lost their Hungarian speaking skills generations ago. Maybe because it is not needed in Moldavia.

Curse of King Zvonimir was upon us.
And it turned out to be true.
""We"" killed our own king when he wanted to help defend the holy land.

And the unfaithful croats went and attacked the king starting to cut his body and spill his blood.
And while the king was lying in the puddle of his blood he said "you shall never have a king of your own blood ever again".
Poor translation

>1/32
>1/8
I think that's just stupid. I'd say it's ok if you're 1/4 but anything after that is just pointless.

1/32 Hungarian and 31/32 gypsy.

My grandpa was born in Yugoslavia and fled from there to Hungary in WW2. I dont identify myself as croatian tho.

>we killed our own king

So the saying from the "worst turk" pasta is real, eh?

What a surprise. A romanian now wants to betray his own country. That's new.

God I'm glad I wasn't born as a filthy slavic/baltic/eastern euro faggot.

Life sounds like hell.

Stay the fuck out of Northern Euoepre thx.

Why are you talking about northern Europe when you aren't even living there?
