Brazil is an economic and industrial juggernaut compared to its neighbors. Even if the quality of their military is questionable, their industry and enormous population would keep them fighting longer than everyone else. I would imagine Brazil would fare poorly in initial engagements but they would eventually make a comeback and tank it out while their enemies struggle to replace losses. Think of the USSR's performance in the early and late stages of WW2.
