How long before based bashir wins? Even when rebels and Isis are defeated, it will be difficult holding the country, the Syrian army isn't a big after years of war. If the Kurds take raqqa then Syria could be contested once more

Did the liberation of Aleppo finally break the jihadis?
Cameron Moore
yea ,but what is worrisome is that US is stepping their support for rebels in southern Syria through Jordan , since US/Turkey relations died down and they probly cant arm to the same extent Idlib rebels anymore since support for Idlib used to go through Turkey and Turkey is supporting to them loyal parts of "FSA" only currently
Syria/Russia must not underestimate southern syria

What was syria like before the war? Share comfy syrian pics if you got them.
Bentley Flores
That region is sparesly populated, the villages are tiny and the roads are shitty. If they will so they can just flatten the southern FSA's newest gains with just a few airstrikes. And this might be a glorified resuplly mission like the Nu-FSA that came last year. They came, took ground from ISIS, lost ground to ISIS and later disbanded. Not combat footage, no reports of losses or kills, nothing.
Leo Morris

Fuck Mosul and fuck Iraq. Jk, I'm actually really sorry for what has happened to your country. Looking at videos from non war torn areas in the middle east, it looks like a very decent place to live. A little barren, but still good.
Yeah, probably. The loss of morale didn't help either I guess and the involvement of Iran sealed the deal.
Elijah Roberts

I'll have you know Iraqis during war time traveled mostly to other iraqi states and not to fucking antartica. That being said, you have nothing to be sorry about. Iraq doesn't have a decent place to live after the all the wars we have been through. Old mosul is the concave region to the east where the army is fighting isis. Abu shit declared himself caliph there and his shit cilapha will btfo when we get back old mosul.
David Russell
Damn the new Assad interview = FIRE youtube.com/watch?v=IGxCRMw7Mas >So we said let's go ahead and pave the way for our own political track (With the terrorist proxies), which was direct communication >We told them "If you give up your armaments, we'll give you amnesty and you can go back to your normal life.. live normal like any other citizen >"Otherwise if you're not part of this reconciliation, you can leave anywhere you want" >And that's what's happening today. That's helped stability in many areas >It's helped undermine the terrorists and their masters >So yes we are ready to sit with whoever could help us in stopping this bloodshed in Syria >We don't have any taboo in this regard
Liam Cox

Can I get a quick rundown on how people think Assad is innocent? I've seen several of his interviews post-sarin gas attacks and I believe he's innocent. It seems like a lot of officials based their opinions on these fake pictures and the whole thing was a false flag, as he has also stated. However, how can we be sure that he is innocent? He could be a smooth talker/manipulator. It seems like it's not possible to know 100% either way and it's just one opinion over another.
Just like how Hitler did nothing wrong. Or did he?
Oliver Campbell
This dude is good. Very good
It is clear he learned from the mistake that Gaddafi committed when he was fighting the rebels.
Assad isn't giving the west any openings which they can use as an excuse to invade

Even if he dropped the gas himself, I'd still think he's the good guy. He basically guarantees the safety of religious minorities and that's the only thing I really care about. It's the same for egypt, really. Sisi is alright in my book, as he somewhat doesn't attack the christians in his country. If he has to smash some Sunni skulls, I'm not mad at all. Not that Sunnis are evil all the time, but currently they're very """problematic"""
Hopefully the Kurds won't try to get their piece as well, it'd be the last thing the region needs.
>disarmed seeing as the average brit isn't allowed to use a butter knife, they're probably armed better than the average. I understand what you mean though. It's weird seeing these pictures from the middle east, where everything just seems so natural (besides the war of course) while in european nations it's usually rather "seperate but equal"-style with muslims and christians. Sure they both live in the same country, but you can always tell who's who.
