Best Jobs?

Whats the best jobs to get? I'm going to be going to Uni for Business Management from Poli Sci but I am also opened to other things as well.

I saw a piece from Mike Rowe that said there were positions for mechanics that are offering 100K but no one to fill them. Whats your profession and how much u make? And which is the best state to work in, in terms of pay and low cost of living?

Engineers make more than enough money to get buy (very good money, making 70-80k on average after a couple of years), only need an undergraduate degree with a couple of years of school to work professionally, can work pretty much anywhere, overall don't have to deal with insane levels of stress from working with people to the level of, say, doctors, don't have to lie on the job and deal with as shitty of people as lawyers, and the only real hassle they have to deal with majorly is paperwork, bureaucratic bullshit, and team members for projects. Assuming you don't make a product which fucks up and lands you in hot water it's a pretty good job. Other than that scientist or college professor.

Scientist is similar to engineer with lesser chance of fucking up but is potentially pretty boring, college professor is an extremely low-stress job with good benefits and pay and they get paid to research what they like although the barrier to entry to these fields (required schooling) is higher.

Probably something you enjoy doing. You are going to do it for a many years or decades, better be something you enjoy.

Depends who you are. If you're a well connected Jew, business. If you're reasonably (not too) smart and tolerant of niggerly behaviour, Doctor. If you're smart and anti-social, Javascript developer. If you like big trucks and are willing to do labour that will destroy your body, heavy diesel mechanic. General all rounder, electrician, plumber, etc. Want something special, ask to be apprentice to a silversmith, watchmaker, etc.

>Implying that people that surfs pol have the mental capacity to finish an engineering degree.

> Implying an engineering degree is that hard to get
I have one

Engineering.

But if you're sort of stupid, becoming a public school teacher and quickly rising the ranks to principal and administration is serious money, fat pension, and platinum health care for life.

Accounting.

You must've missed the scientist appreciation thread last night. A sizable number of us are finishing master's/PhDs or moving into them. Probably a higher ratio than the average population.

JWZ is an asshole but this advice is solid

>Best
>Job

Working from 9 to 5 wont make you rich.

IT Security.
>huge demand for skilled professionals
>great pay
>can browse porn at work
>most places allow work from home at least 1 day a week
>can see what people do online
>people fear you

Whatever you do, do NOT chase what's hot right now. Because by the time you get trained in what's hot right now, it'll be cold by the time you're ready.

You really need to sit down and ask yourself what you'll get up in the morning to go do. Because hell is having to get up in the morning and go to something you hate.

If I don't have a seriously intense job I'm filled with existential dread day one and usually don't make it through the week employed at said place.

I fight forest fires instead. I need adrenaline to enjoy working.

Everyone is different, if I hadn't discovered how much I love adrenaline I would probably be convinced that I'm too incompetant to work.

Instead of being a worthless NEET or homeless person, I'm a pretty respected member of society.

Unlike every other job I've encountered you honestly feel like you have a purpose, instead of just nursing your boss's paycheck.

>Accounting.
Complete a meme profession.

This is probably the best advice in the thread. Look at where everyone else is going, and go the other way. That's where the opportunity is.

Nope. Pretty damn great if you can network.

working as an engineer for Musk’s Neuralink

There's more to life than being rich, like spending just enough time making money to enjoy things.

It can make you pretty damn well off. Nearly all entrepreneurs fail. It's not even worth considering.

I bet those mechanic jobs are specialized jobs working on specific hardware that's hard to get training for.

The typical mechanic works at a car dealership and it sucks. Flat out sucks. There's fun and then there's the farthest thing from fun and that's in the service bay of a car dealership.

And they get paid shit for it. Well, they'll tell you the faster you work the more money you make, but it's all set up to systematically underpay you.

>Because hell is having to get up in the morning and go to something you hate.

t. someone you should listen to

Most people will not end up with the job they planned on having. You have to think of something you'd like to do, then think of what you can do if Choice A doesn't work out. Then you get your ass to work and hopefully avoid waking up to go to a soul-sucking job.

>Implying people say the truth in an anonimous site.

Sure anons you are avobe average folks, you are a bunch of special snowflakes.

>anonimous

A fucking leaf. Kill yourself, you spineless maple nigger.

Piggybacking on this, I'm looking into mortuary science to open a direct crematorium using alkaline hydrolysis. Finishing a business degree and going to mortuary school in winter. Want to undercut current price market. Any advice for a fellow future fearing user?
