Why don't we just develop a weapon even stronger than nukes?
Nukes are almost a century old technology, while the rest of the world is busy navel gazing at their nuclear inventories or trying to build their own we could just make something even stronger and not have to worry about the norks or slavs or any of that shit.
A thermonuclear reaction is pretty strong user. It's like turning on the sun in the middle of a city for a few seconds. I'd say that'd get the job done for most problems you have
Asher Jenkins
What if you had a weapon that could pop the whole planet?
Ryan Davis
Developing then releasing a super weapon will kick off another dangerous arms race.
The biological warfare developments of the 70's and 80's and now genetically selective bioweapons are terrifying.
Now it's cyber weapons. All of these are more powerful, more economic and more effective than a traditional nuke.
Liam Long
If your people identify with the higher cause and have a high birthrate you already own a USABLE weapon more powerful than nukes. Which explains the fixation faggots have for sci-fi 'superweapons'.
Ayden Evans
...but no one's off the planet yet. Why would you need a planet blower-upper if you're stuck on the same planet as your enemies?
Ethan Baker
It's a perfect weapon for a Samson option
Levi Phillips
Hey stupid
The future lies in mini nukes.
Zachary Davis
I mean, that is one way to go about ensuring MAD, but for the most part, I think it'll be ignored because you don't wanna die either.
Aaron Hughes
The government has already created several prototypes for weapons that would be more powerful than a thermonuclear warhead. The problem is we don't have a safe way to test them. That's why the mars trip is so vital. We will finally be able to test our superweapons, and if successful blow up that entire stupid planet.
Christopher Jenkins
How would it even make a difference? Mutually reassured destruction?
Why dont we just make a weapon that blows the whole planet up? Either way we're just kinda waiting around for someone crazy enough to push the button.
Matthew Martinez
Getting warmer...
Gabriel Wood
Thermonuclear weapons essentially weaponize one of the basic founding forces of physics- the nuclear forces. Any weapon you develop kinda has to be built operating under the principles of those forces, hence you cant really make anything "better", it would just be derivative. Unless we upgrade to fusion warheads, thats the next logical step along that pathway.
What i think would be truly terrifying are weapons based on the OTHER physical forces: magnetism and gravity. Lets make a micro-singularity in the middle of a target are for a second, or lets reverse the electromagnetic polarity of the atmosphere above a target.
Then you REALLY start getting terrifying shit.
Brayden Robinson
It's an effective asymmetric MAD for countries with not enough nukes to blow up a whole country. Obviously not needed for Russia-American MAD
Kevin Smith
Yeah, I mean, why aren't we working harder on better ways to blow up the planet?
Anthony Flores
don't open that door!
Xavier Cooper
one of the physical properties of the universe is the ability of matter to self replicate exponentially, imagine a bomb that turns the whole earth into a ball of paperclips
Kevin Campbell
I thought nuclear war was already mutually assured destruction? The whole reason to push it one step further is to just push shit onwards and into this fucking century. As an American it's frustrating that being a nuclear power is basically an equalizing factor, we need something to remind everyone who the fuck runs the planet. There doesn't have to be a purpose, its just a demonstration of our engineering and scientific skill as well as average dick length and girth.
Austin Reed
Which is exactly the kind of attitude we can capitalize on.
Wyatt Turner
>Thoughts? You don't think men far smarter than yourself haven't been paid very good money to think shit like this up? The Jew has one, my friend. The entire world is hostage.
Carson Powell
>Posting halo rings
Cute. It took a insanely advanced civilization whose sole purpose was to destroy the Flood. The ring is fucking Earth sized for christ sake. We're not building that or any thing REMOTELY close to that even in the next 10000 years.
Henry Phillips
>fire halo array >all life in galaxy killed I think thats a little overboard
Angel Anderson
For sure, remember the Jews created (((nukes))) over 70 years ago, who knows what they have now. If you don't believe me, look it up. We aren't talking about "disproportionately Jewish", Los Alamos was practically a synagogue, I'm sure they spoke Yiddish as a working language there.
Austin Bennett
With mutually assured destruction we've nullified the prospect of any one nation being in charge so long as another can assure you're dead if you don't agree with that.
Kayden Hill
this. waiting to see is self-defeating because we've already been conquered
Nolan Perez
Doesn't that require multiple Arrays? Or did they just build so many of those because the blast radius was too small? Can a single Array blast still wipe out a huge part of the galaxy?
post halo lore pls
Christopher Hughes
Too late for it to be closed.
Kayden Gray
What we need is moon weapons.
>tidal locked
It's the perfect weapons platform
Bentley Thomas
The winner of World War 3 will not be the one who creates the next big bomb, but the one who figures out how to neutralize everyone's big bombs.
Cameron Harris
>Each Halo installation has a maximum effective range of 25,000 light-years in every direction. The method utilized by the array to conduct this "mass sterilization protocol" involves the superluminal conveyance of a burst of cross-phased super-massive neutrinos, tuned to emit a harmonic frequency that destroys the nervous system of any life form within range.
Colton Edwards
biological warfare with a vaccine kept secret but given to all citizens would be the most optimal form of offense and defense

Pure Fusion devices upset the balance of power (Fission material is what's controlled by the Great Powers via "anti proliferation") so research of the next logical evolution of nuclear weaponry stopped.

>mfw instead of colonizing the galaxy we blow it up instead
Thomas Fisher
as long as our targets are on the ground, there really isn't a reason to make anything stronger than a nuke.
if you make your blast radius with a weapon too large, most of it just expands into the air. nukes are capable of reaching this sort of magnitude.
the logical course of action is the one focused on by the world today -- using multiple small explosions to disperse damage over a wider surface area + developing propulsion to get the weapons delivered faster.
because of this, the battle isn't even about bikes anymore -- it's about who can develop better propulsion systems to power ABMs.
Lincoln Howard
Orbital Cannons could disable nuclear launch stations
Jack King
Developing a super-weapon more powerful than nukes still wouldn't stop hundreds if not thousands of nukes flying at you.
Jacob Kelly
Or we could not have more of our wealth taken from us and put into the coffers of the worst examples of mans corruption and corruptiblity Government bureaucracy
Michael Moore
ITS DIVINE WIND WILL RUSH THROUGH THE STARS PROPELLING ALL WHO ARE WORTHY ALONG THE PATH TO SALVATION

With nukes you can destroy everything you want. Problem is you destroy everything else too. So rather than just bigger bombs, the next logical step would be something that destroys what you want but leaves everything else intact.
Jaxon Martinez
>implying they can't turn a space telescope into a death ray
Carter Brown
>The biological warfare developments of the 70's and 80's and now genetically selective bioweapons are terrifying. What's even more terrifying is the thought of some insane Malthusians getting ahold of them to advance their racial supremacist ideology cough Zionism cough
Damn near everyone knows the line "we need a new Pearl harbor like event" from the pnac papers (written almost exclusively by Zionist Jews) but people do t remember that these same people wrote extensively about not only further developing these weapons but using them to get rid of problem populations. Aka any race these Jewish supremacist view as a threat to their radical Zionist ideology. This isn't even me putting words in their mouths they wrote this shit out and published it.
William Peterson
We surely already have this power, as none of us have ever seen a real nuke explosion, as nearly all have been replaced by particle beam and electronic/wave technology. They can create super waves, earthquakes, storms, etc. They can control the very particle nature of our reality and surely could destroy an entire planet if they wanted. NK has no nukes, and even if they did, it would be low-grade explosion no bigger than hiro or naga. Read Joseph Farrell.
Michael Peterson
> Malthusians getting ahold of them to advance their racial supremacist ideology cough Zionism cough
what do you think africa is for? it's population control ground zero
Blake Turner
Still waiting for an actual Ion Cannon.
Ayden Baker
This game changing tech exist user it just isn't specifically what you're describing but even more devastating than just neutralizing the big bombs.
It's the ability to shut down an entire nations power infrastructure. Link related This ability has already been leaked/stolen and is being used to blackmail us
If we had a secure way to get a rods from gods system into space we would use that.
Parker Miller
Delet this
Easton Rodriguez
>the entire theme of the Halo rings is that they're overpowered and wipe out all life in the entire galaxy a la Samson Option rly maek brian
Chase Collins
aka tactical nukes. Everyone has those as well, but problem is when you choose to use a "tactical" nukes, nothing stops your enemy from using everything-killing strategic nukes. So we are back at where we started.
Cameron Martinez
America has antimatter weapons, they never tested them though because they would destroy not just earth, but the whole solar system.
Justin Hughes
Nanobot viruses. You can't make a vaccine if it's not even biological. Then you infect the elites and use the vaccine as leverage over them.
Carter Cook
>people actually believe nukes exist lol
Adrian Robinson
>what do you think africa is for? it's population control ground zero That's the thing "Population control" is an absolute farce and Malthus was so wrong about everything he wrote he couldn't even predict the present he lived in let alone the future. The only reason these ideas refuse to die is like Marxism it is an exceedingly good way to convince a population into giving up as much power to the government willingly as possible. Africa is a perfect example of just how horribly destructive and morally reprehensible Malthusian ideas are.
Hell the British Deliberately created the Irish potato famine just as the IMF and foreign aid policies today(which are given out under the condition of population control laws being implemented) are Deliberately creating the situation in much of Africa.
Look up the book "Merchants of despair" it's an excellent book on this subject especially for how broad of a spectrum it covers
Joseph Jenkins
Unless you're an engineer, physicist or chemist. I don't want to hear a word from you.
Landon Foster
Because nobody has a defense for nukes yet, you dumb nigger fuck. Why spend money to research and develop something stronger than a bomb that disintegrates everything in its blast radius in half a second? You can't even stop it. No point.
What people ARE researching and developing is a defense against nukes. And when that's figured out, someone will finance research on better weapons. Stupid motherfucker. Get out of school.
Camden Carter
>why did the russians cancel the 100 megaton tsar bomba that was projected The nuke industry hasn't even been fully developed yet because a stronger weapon would have unneeded effects Like bad PR 70 years after using it
Benjamin Gomez
You're a very good goy, I'm sure you're new here judging by this opinion and the reddit spacing. This form of an appeal to authority is exactly how kikes and """"""scientists""""""" like Bill Nye are able to trick you stupid cucks.
Blake Hill
>implying we aren't already working on it
Jayden Cox
The Russians have already developed the FOAM (Father of all Bombs), which is basically twice as powerful as the MOAB . The idea, being, that they want the destructive power of a nuke without fallout.
Though we're talking about physical damage in these cases. A nice electromagnetic bomb would devastate much more in a place that relies solely on electronics for its everything.
Nathan Bell
Those are easy to wipe out with magnetic fields though.
Dylan Torres
Redirection of asteroids to earth for high intensity blasts. Just throw some nuke engines on that bitch and wait a couple decades.
Jayden Flores
No, I am an engineer, I understand how nuclear fusion and fission works because I've seen it work. if you don't believe that same power can be used to make a bomb I want you to show me proof.
Wyatt White
nukes are the only thing preventing the major world powers from going to war with each other; upsetting the balance of power would not be profitable because your upsetting the balance of power plus everyone else would eventually get a hold of that technology and it would make everything even more dangerous if war broke out.
Carter Garcia
>shifting the goalposts This wasn't your original position at all. You're an easily indoctrinated goy, it's plainly obvious by this post
Julian Kelly
pretty sure there were 7 halo arrays that were supposed to essentially scour the galaxy so whatever the ancient aliens were called could repopulate it with their AI's
Mason Rogers
>Nukes are almost a century old technology AFA being used in practice they haven't reached their centennial just yet.
But the technologies have been upgraded around them. Mach 6 ICBMs are relatively new.
Josiah Collins
Splitting the basic building blocks of matter isn't enough? Are you retarded?
Pretty much. And to be used as nukes should the flood break out in whatever galaxy each ring is in. They are enormous failsafes.
Austin Cook
shit-whole country launches a pile of steel junk into orbit.
collides with your 100 trillion dollar space station
oops sorry about the debris
Jaxson Garcia
i assume your talking about a hard weapon replacement for nukes? like a bigger bomb or something and not germ warfare or mk ultra mind control shit. first off, you can always build a bigger thermonuclear device. more like a series of bombs really. the thing is, i dont remember exactly, the best ratio of bang to weight we can get is a megaton or two per ton. so, more powerful devices weigh more and become infeasible to deploy against an enemy. "what about antimatter" you might ask. well, as far as the public knows, it takes a shitload of energy, time, and money to make even micrograms of the stuff and you need grams to even approach a nuclear equivalent. lets say those restrictions aren't an issue. then the problem becomes you have a weapon you cant disarm easily. in fact it'll explode if its magnetic containment fields every lose power. the real fault with "bigger bombs" is diminishing returns. after a certain point any explosion you make is going to lose most of its energy to space.
Caleb Edwards
Already have them dumbass
Zachary Wright
I wonder why they were so motivated.
Self preservation? Btw before nukes all we had was guns and bombs which worked since 1044.
Before that we had arrows, which worked since some ape picked up a rock.
You guys are retarded theres already chemicals in everything we eat and drink that are more powerful and dangerous than any nuke. Were already fucked the jews won.
William Thomas
Rods from God.
Easton Cox
Blackpill never got us anywhere, leaf. Stop trying to be Nietzche & start being Evola instead.
Jace Cooper
You would have to be an idiot to believe that we haven't developed weapons more powerful than nukes. The dead giveaway is that the US uses disarming their own nuclear arsenol as a leverage point to stop other countries from building nuclear weapons.
You won't know what the next super weapon is until is situation arises where it must be deployed.
Bentley Bailey
getting shit into space is actually still pretty hard. its kind of shocking to realise its 2017 and most nations arent on par with 1960s Russia
Levi Allen
Its almost like groups of people are inferior to others
Noah Hall
Makes me wonder. Should we start drinking the water again? If I had to immunize the populace secretly that's how I'd do it.
Justin Hughes
It's almost like niggers are useless.
Ian Price
Tsunami bombs are the future. You can put a mega nuke on the seabed and wipe out an entire coast line for hundreds of miles inland. The land will not be radioactive after and there is no fallout. Other ideas would be triggering earthquakes or creating mega typhoons.
Eli Johnson
What would happen if you reversed such polarity?
Caleb Parker
Battery tech gets better and well do lasers. Instantly make air force useless and actually depend on it to stop incoming nukes. We've been working on cameras and systems to tract incoming. Which is also why we and Russia have been developing faster missile delivery.
Kayden Barnes
MAC rounds and HAVOK nukes when?
Jack Mitchell
good thing youre not in charge then >put cure in public water >which anyone has access to you got to lock that shit down
Leo Sanchez
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
Kayden Carter
Of course Japan would think about tsunamis
Bentley Martin
>be in a country where tensions might overflow into war >suddenly some government agent knocks on your door and gives you several jugs of water and tells you to drink this instead, that the towns water supply is contaminated >seconds earlier you had been sipping on water and it tasted completely fine >nothing about the contamination on the news
even if you did want to take the government at it's word it would sound sketchy as fuck.
Justin Ross
You think we aren't perpetually developing future weapons?
Jordan Howard
Because nukes are already more than necessary and don't get used, would be a complete waste of money.
Wars of the future are/will be fought economically and psychologically
