On most days, there's usually only 2 to 3 KC-10s or KC-135s in the air at this time of night.
Of the 31 Trackable Military Aircraft over CONUS, 12 are air refueling birds. An E-8 Joint STARS shut it's transponder off a few minutes ago while flying westward.
4 of the refuelers seem to be headed to the same area off of San Fran (pic related), suggesting they are refueling a lot of aircraft for some reason.
Even during training, you rarely see 11-12 reuelers in the air. One KC-135 can refuel an entire squadron.
Eli Gray
So, they're ferrying west? A lot of them?
Blake Ramirez
Don't know. Just very high refueler activity tonight.
Chase Martinez
how could it be training if they're air refueling while flying over their own airfields??
Samuel Morales
Maybe they are refueling now before gas prices go up again?
David Hughes

Luke Howard
I wish I had screencapped when I still had it on the map. If some Mercurys and Nightwatch go up, then I'll be very interested.
Elijah Hill
Thanks for posting >Not spotted on the Radar but also heading West
Joshua Turner
Great, now Sup Forums has it's own recon intelligence network.
Keep up the good work
Caleb Phillips
I was in a KC135 refuelling F4s(dated, I know) over the gulf of mexico. Probably gassed up 8 or so, it was a long time ago.
So that's a lot of planes they're refueling
Nicholas James
What anchor?
Gavin Lewis
They can't find the sub boys. Or maybe one of the pilots is redpilled and knows they have to let the nuke hit liberal California.
Chase Johnson
dunno what that means, I was in ROTC in college and got to do this training thing. We flew out of central Texas.
Kevin King
I'm Finnish diaspora so my autism is way up there.
I'm under the impression a KC-135 holds enough fuel for at least a squadron of fighters and roughly a flight of heavy bombers.
Is this a correct assumption?
Leo Smith
Designated airspace for refueling tracks. Tracks are the race track flight path of the refueling aircraft. American tracks are coded as Anchors
Kayden Jones
oh, I'm sure a google search would tell you more than I know. I was just throwing in some first hand experience cuz it's slightly unusual.
I can't remember how many got refueled, but it seemed like a lot. Had to be careful not to kill the guy in the F4 backseat when they were hooking up so he would have his head on a swivel when they were doing that. >the seat they lay down on to operate that thing was comfy AF, desu
Easton Long
that north korean sub is probably sitting down there with a bunch of asphyxiated koreans in it
Wyatt King
Depends on the load of the a/c and how many pounds of fuel the aircraft have. Fighters might typically hit a Refuel track shortly after takeoff to replace fuel expended during takeoff if carrying a heavy payload.
Gavin Rodriguez
They're fueling C-130s off the coast of California right now.
Charles Gomez
Right, I knew carrier aircraft had to and B-52s on ancient SAC alerts would also refuel right after takeoff. I always just assumed fighters would do the same thing.
Alexander Hernandez
There's a Joint STARS over Colorado now.
Michael Baker
>Tensions rise to a critical level with a country threatening to nuke us across the Pacific >woah guys there's a larger military presence on the west coast
Asher Martin
I hope that sub nukes you first.
Angel Campbell
me too desu
Angel Brooks
And they are in 633 refueling track. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Jose Ramirez
like it even matters north korea is gonna launch 5 billion nukes
Michael Howard
...
Aiden Adams
2 hours ago it was 5 million. Jesus, these guys build nukes faster than Latvian supermarkets can collapse.
Anthony Long
It's more aircraft than normal at this time of night.
Xavier Brooks
>now spotted the newfag
Jace Long
anyone know what happened to most of the refuelers there are only 2 still up with transponder on
Caleb Edwards
They kinda just "poofed."
Henry Diaz
b52 are probably never on the system ar4e tracked right? they wouldnt put public transponders on b52s right?
Daniel Johnson
Why u always snitchin on the military? Shhh nigga they gonna see we comin for em.
Luis Cruz
Hi Dean
Michael Cruz
Combat aircraft are never on this site. I see U-28s and even the E-6 and E-4 Doomsday planes, but never a Viper or Eagle or Hornet.
I ain't spilling anything classified. It's public info.
Gas is cheap now. Maybe the air force is like "fuck it"
Christian Thomas
should i tell north koreas twitter via the boxer special nuke rush??? i think it would be funny to tell them
James Thomas
why would they be refueling over California? nothing happening there, unless maybe they are planning to bomb the shit out of SJW's at Berkeley tomorrow.
Connor Bennett
>GUCCI32
What is this? A crew of frat boys?
Ethan Rodriguez
Gogogogo it's the only chance to make a happening truly worthwhile to watch Or possibly starts a happening Either way win/win
Robert James
meant to include >TOGA31
Dominic Mitchell
LEL
Dominic Morgan
I didn't even pay attention to that, heh.
84-0185 has done his duty and is heading home. No idea what he refueled.
Jack Morris
something is going .... they just released a video of the minuteman strike test
