It adresses majority of problems correctly. But the solution offered in second half of the documentary : the technology dependant resourse based economy is not possible to achieve I feel.
I feel it is about making the lifestyle simpler ( not necessarily primitive ). Not be luxurious while being dependant on some technology to take care of us as the documentary proposes.

It was pretty edgy in 2007 when it first came out. Now it's just obsolete.
Religion part is false and plays on the viewer's ignorance that a) Jesus was not born in dec. 25th, nowhere in the bible says that date, that's just a catholic invention from the middle ages for no reason other than "wer the church" b) the information about the pagan gods is mostly false: isis was not at all a virgin but resurrected her dead husband to have sex one time, etc (pic related)
The 9/11 part it's somewhat ok because there are so many theories about it that it just can't be known who is right at this point. It might have been cgi, who cares.
The central banking stuff is ok but just entry level, it was the top stuff in 2007 as I said. The earliest version of the movie (the director edited future version to cut this part) had stuff about a coming north-american currecny called the Amero that never came and about a implanted microchip mark-of-the-beast like that also never came (in the date he predicted, at least).
So there you go. I think I said everything you need to know about zeitgeist. Still pretty entertaining movie, but we have better now. Zeitgeist 3 is also pretty cool for enternainment purposses.

I watched Zeitgeist when I was 17 too and it impressed me because I was an edgy teenager, today I see that most of the things on the movie was bullshit but it sparked my curiosity to search for more, for the man behind the curtain, It is a good entry point but there are other documentaries you should watch like .
