I'd like to clear up any confusion about President Duterte (allegations of killings, political ideology, if he's /ourguy/) since most of the information that reaches other countries is sent by libtards/globalists/oligarchs who sent the Philippines to shit in the first place and want to keep it that way. There's a smear campaign going on because Duterte poses a threat to them.
I live in the Philippines so I'm pretty well versed regarding this subject.
"I was separated from my wife. I'm not impotent. What am I supposed to do? Let this hang forever? When I take Viagra, it stands up."
What did he mean by this?
Aiden Parker
In the west all we hes about him is that he's a murderer and crazy and evil or something. The thing is, I don't think most people believe the propaganda much but also we're not given an alternate narrative about him. Why is the media so afraid of him?
Luis Bell
he got cucked by china, thats for sure
Jason Kelly
Why was he trying to cozy up to China at the end of Obama's term, then suddenly he's our best friend again. What game is he playing? (probably EU4)
Christian Williams
well? is he doing a good job? do you see an improvement?
Angel Fisher
The media is afraid of him because he's anti globalist, just like Trump.
Chase Thomas
but trump is a globalist. he said it himself.
Matthew Hill
Right now he's doing a really good job trying to bring our country up from the hell hole it's in. He's focusing on a strict law and order campaign against illegal drugs, and Islamic Terrorism, he's outed a lot of corrupt cops, he's rekindled Filipino Nationalism, etc. Also, he just recently laid out his long term economic plan and it's great. The previous administration was never this competent.
The Duterte administration is not without its faults, though. Our head of police is an incompetent nutcase. There were also a lot of incompetent frat boys given positions in the government not for their experience but for being famous or being friends with duterte (ex. an actor has a high position in the dept of tourism, our police head skipped a lot of ranks)
Josiah Flores
you can get away with weed... cops will just shoo you off even on their slowest day.
meth = instajail or get rekt by vigilantes
Michael Allen
sadly I agree with this. Duterte is a total cuck to China. He's also a cuck to muslims so he's very politically correct in his war against Abu Sayaff/ISIS. He keeps considering peace talks with these guys, and communist rebels instead of full on just blowing them up.
These are his worst traits
Joshua Lopez
I have no idea
James Ortiz
what happened to BBL btw? afaik they threatened us for war if it wasn't passed...
Angel Kelly
glad things are looking up nothing can be perfect, but hopefully this is a stepping stone to greater things.
Charles Thomas
he says he's a globalist and a nationalist which frankly is as confusing as Duterte claiming that he's a socialist (which he's not really according to his actions)
Jace Walker
It really is a step in the right direction for the Philippines.
Carson Hill
Is it true that he have kicked Rothscilfs out of the country?
Colton Roberts
A new draft is being written. I believe that BBL shouldn't be passed in any form, though. Giving the muslims their own state is really dumb.
Xavier Roberts
I read that article. There's no reputable source that he even mentioned kicking out the Rothschilds. Though he has spoken out against George Soros a few months ago for being responsible for funding groups and rallies opposed to the Duterte government.
Aaron Parker
Holy shit... I remember the ambushed police force. It was obviously a suicide mission to delay the BBL...
Landon Bailey
Simple. Obama isn't president anymore. Trump is.
Carter Myers
Don't forget his upcoming infrastructure projects. http www build gov ph/ Duterte is a great man, don't dare and lose him flipbros.
Grayson Morris
>http www build gov p Thanks Italbro. I'm impressed that you're aware of that website.
Julian Collins
Thanks a lot. Feel free to visit the Philippines. We have great beaches, etc. It isn't a war zone like the media wants you to think it is.
Levi Jenkins
Duterte has done a pretty solid job admitting that hes everything the liberal West accuses him of being. Hes leaves very little room for interpretation or debate. Hes made too many primary quotes to the media admitting that hes personally killed people and sanctions the killing of people without arrest or trial. Hes also a complete hypocrite leading an anti-drug crusade while admitting to a personal history of fentanyl (basically meth) abuse.
Cameron Evans
It's true that he's personally killed criminals during his tenure as Davao Mayor (ex. he killed a bunch of hostage takers who raped and killed European missionaries back in the 80s).
But the current issue is if he's the mastermind behind the vigilante/extra judicial killings in the Philippines. The opposition is quick to blame him and is eager to unseat him, so there's a smear campaign that he's behind these killings when it's really corrupt cops, vigilantes, and drug bosses killing off their weak links. Most of these problems were already present BEFORE Duterte was president.
>why is the media so afraid of him >the media says he is evil and crazy >I don't think most people believe the (((propaganda))) >we're not given an alternate narrative Theres isn't an alternative narrative because theres only 1 reality user. You don't even need to take the media or mine or anyones word for it. Take Dutertes word for it, the man admits to everything on camera and in interviews. Hes not hiding how much of an asshole he is at all but you're still choosing to try to believe otherwise despite 0 reason for doing so.
Ethan Taylor
give specific examples instead of blanket statements.
Nolan Kelly
>a smear campaign The west doesn't need a word from anyone else to hate Duterte. Just the things that Duterte does and says about himself is enough. >"And I'd go around in Davao with a motorcycle, with a big bike around, and I would just patrol the streets, looking for trouble. I was really looking for a confrontation so I could kill." >“Hitler massacred three million Jews. Now, there is three million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them.” >“I was angry because she was raped. That’s one thing. But she was so beautiful. The mayor [Duterte] should have been first.”
Even if drug users were given due process before they were killed, capital punishment for non-violent crimes is seen as disgusting in the west. Saudi-Arabia tier uncivilized.
Owen Myers
iirc there was this one time a girl was put in jail with men and she was raped. Duterte's comment about it was "Why was I not invited?"
true or propaganda?
Nicholas James
An Australian missionary was raped (and murdered) in the city while he was the mayor. Full quote included in I don't know anything about a woman raped in jail, but i wouldn't at all be surprised to hear that he joked about that one to.
Easton Evans
ITT Americucks whining about due process when they have no idea how bad the trafficking situation (drugs/humans) and corruption actually is
If your country is so bad that it can't afford due process and just have to straight up murder drug users and suspected drug users by the thousands, then you're too much of a shit hole for us to care about at all. You're a third world shit hole with no international importance outside your geographic proximity to actual countries.
Angel Gutierrez
t. fag who has obviously never been to PH
If you were looking at the big picture and the geostrategic importance of the Pacific Rim you'd know why those islands are important.
Brayden Parker
As someone affected by the vermin known as druggies and drug dealers i fully support your president hard stance in such issues, If a similar event were to take place in south american countries, would the philiphines be open to establish economic relations with them?
Jaxon Brown
Drug Dealers should be executed. Good riddance.
Ethan Sullivan
wtf I hate drumpf now
Owen Gomez
I hope he wipes out the Muslims from your country. The Phillipines is rightful Catholic clay.
Wyatt Diaz
I'd like this to happen in California. You have no idea how badly drugs have fucked up an entire generation of people here.
Carter Reyes
>the man admits to everything on camera and in interviews Everything he admits to doing, he did within the law. Nothing extra-judicial, nothing that violates human rights. He killed 3? Yes, 3 armed, dangerous, confirmed, in-the-act rapists and kidnappers in a shootout.
The rest, are obviously either: 1. jokes/hyperboles (eg, eating liver of terrorists) 2. hypothetical (if..then: IF you don't stop doing crime, this will be your last Christmas. or.. I would be happy to kill 3 million addicts) - both statements he did NOT do, because they are hypothetical. IF..THEN statements.
Liam Smith
You want to know something interesting? Ever since Duterte gained spotlight, even the Filipinos in the USA have changed. They're no longer obnoxious into this Filipino swag shit. It's like they all disappeared.
Leo Watson
*both statements he did say, but did not do. they're just that, statements. hypothetical ones.
Christopher Cook
Why did he marry a fucking Jew?
John Green
...
Tyler Lopez
He is a national socialist
Anthony Morris
Im surprised he hasnt hired foreigners to kill druggies. That would be cash as fuck
Nolan Lee
Westerners don't understand that savages can only be governed by greater savagery. PI culture is the problem and the human obstacles to progress should be killed.
Luis Hill
The hardest Duterte redpill to swallow is this that Duterte actually doesn't kill druggies. He doesn't commit EJK. There is no death squad. He operates within the law.
The killed druggies you hear are either: 1. Drug dealers/lords killing each other 2. Corrupt/rogue cops killing druggies, to protect his reputation 3. Drug dealers who, in the process of being arrested, resisted arrest and shoot at the police, and end up getting killed because the police defended themselves and are better armed.
Joseph Jenkins
That seems like a reasonable Redpill user
Luke Gonzalez
He turns a blind eye to it, and doesn't promote heavy investigations of EJK. At least from what I have heard.
Camden Kelly
Actually those """"statistics""" (quotation marks because they've been trumped up by media) you hear about are really the numbers of deaths under investigation or DUI, so they *are* being investigated. And not all of them are drug-related.
The CHR (Commission of Human Rights) actually just found a total of 39 cases that are possibly fishy, so, again, it's not really a concerted state-sanctioned effort to kill everyone, just some rogues, bad cops, vigilantes, syndicates, and possibly collateral damage. But overall things are improving.
It's a local governance problem too more than anything, since all those deaths are clustered in 5 major cities.
Basically this
Noah Ortiz
That's to bad.
At least he is instilling fear into the criminals if nothing else.
Carter Rivera
so how many off you guys are spanish-mixed
Jace Young
meant
Aiden Kelly
Pretty sure all lowland Flips have even a small trace of Spanish admixture. But those who have significant Spanish lineage probably account for less than 1-2% of the population.
Gabriel Cooper
ok, the Filipinos I know look like straight spics
Noah Clark
It depends really, a lot of lowland Filipinos have some Spanish-looking features but only have very distant Spanish lineage.
The middle and upper-classes generally have more Spanish admixture (though still not a majority), so that may explain it.
Leo Fisher
Why does every fucking Filipino act like a moody teenager any time some questions this fucking prick. >WAAAAH YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND US! Same line every fucking time. Same excuses. Like, fuck off mate. I know that in the Philippines corruption runs rampant and where life is cheap, but give me a break.
Kayden Gonzalez
basically he said this in anger when he saw the dead bodies of the raped girls:
"I was so angry because she got raped. Her beauty was wasted by these savages. The mayor (him) should have been first."
I believe the statement is still darn distasteful but he said it in the heat of the moment out of anger.
>He blamed the USA for the Muslim genocide back in the 1800s >He backs a bill that aims to set up a sharia state in a certain region in mindanao, basically a no go zone >He was supportive of peace talks with the MILF and MNLF terror groups (though this has changed) youtube.com/watch?v=sBJiJszM9Rg
Duterte isn't perfect but he's still pretty based though
Andrew Young
people really like to underestimate duts forgetting this man was a prosecutor and a judge who manage to survive when Davao before him running things was a shitfest
Lucas Walker
What event do you mean?
Luis Young
What kind of gun is that?
Lincoln Miller
>trigger discipline I like this guy.
Evan Howard
Thanks for helping out, user
Joshua Ortiz
That sounds great. Can you elaborate? Less obnoxious in what terms?
Leo Smith
It's funny because he wanted a closer relationship China, but then when he realized that was a mistake, he cam begging the US to send out NAVY to protect you guys.
Top fucking kek. Weaker nations should fear the strong.
Luis Rivera
How easy would it be to get away with killing someone by just planting drugs on the body or something? i imagine you could realistically do this right now in phili.
Parker Taylor
Right now he believes that historical injustice against Muslims is the cause of Islamic Extremism (obviously wrong).
Hopes he breaks out of this viewpoint. You can't fully destroy Islamic Extremism before getting to the root of it, the ideology itself.
Ayden Ortiz
I endorse this user's redpill statement fully! I've been saying this for a long time now.
Mason Reyes
...
Mason Lee
You've mistaken me as one of those rabid Duterte fans (I'm not). I support him but I call him out for his bs. I'm not like Bill Mitchell who thinks Trump is dear leader.
Carter Murphy
Why is he so based? He truly is /ourguy/
Nathaniel Sanchez
Easy enough if you tried. Well that's probably where a lot of the statistics on "extrajudicial" killings come from, people are taking advantage of it to settle loose ends.
Cooper Jones
That is a problem deeply rooted in the Philippines' corruption, not new in Duterte's govt.. I believe the Philippine National Police should be abolished completely and start from the ground up. It's just too much of a swamp.
Grayson Johnson
and as I said, the broken system of the PH law enforcement is at fault, not Duterte's. Blame Cory Aquino and friends.
Ian Gray
I don't necessarily disagree with that. As I said, Duterte is cucky to China. He should've known they were not good guys. A lot of us here are pretty angry that Duterte was (is still?) trying to align with the people who are trying to steal some of our territory.
Robert Russell
Honestly, the problems started when the PC was abolished. The paramilitary PC served as a sort of check on the civilian INP. When the PC was abolished, the new PNP that sprung from the INP had chiefs and officials who became very territorial and had their own turfs and interests to protect.
Alexander Turner
He just got the Ming DLC at the end of Obama's term, then realized what shit it was, and then modded back.
Tyler Gutierrez
>MILF terror groups
Nolan Smith
and as i said out police chief is fricking incompetent. Hired because of brotherhood instead of merit.
Blake Evans
Moro Islamic Liberation Front. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Connor Ward
>Ming DLC Who else wouldn't hate the USA with Obama as president? I'm happy Trump won since he has more in common with Duterte than Shillary has.
Dylan Lewis
Honestly, I'd say that he's just trying to cozy up to the guys who (realistically) are our biggest trade partners in the region. I'd say that the whole international arbitration case was pretty quixotic really. China's import share has gone up significantly in all the time that we had our beef with them in the WPS.
If anything, the WPS is not an economic issue for China. They can always get oil for Russia. I attended a talk where a former general and a Chinese studies professor said that China doesn't want the resources, but the security. They're paranoid that America can sneak in nuclear submarines and surface combatants through Philippine waters. China wants security, while we want the resources. Something can be worked out, especially now that America is pretty disorderly at the moment.
Owen Fisher
Bump. Prepare for Flips flooding this thread.
Julian King
Oh I honestly don't blame him. Just like I don't blame Egypt for going more to Russia under Obama, what ally could count on that nigger fag?
Luis Parker
>you can get away with weed... cops will just shoo you off even on their slowest day.
can confirm, still 420 blazin everyday and my dealer always smiles and says 'don't worry about Rodrigo'
Nathaniel Gomez
Hopefully level headed Flips come instead of the ones that support EVERYTHING Duterte does like cultists.
recap: I like Duterte but I'm not afraid to call out his bs
John Martin
>that trigger discipline
Juan Moore
4D Chess. Also, China's kinda siding with the US on North Korea now. It also looks like Trump is improving relations with CN so if US-CN-PH are all friendly, it's all good. What most people don't understand is that CN is slowly veering away from communism.
Carson Taylor
Duterte is even open to medical marijuana
Liam Barnes
I was in the Philippines in January everybody over there liked how he kills all the drug pushers even the people who voted against him wanted to see the drug pushers dead Streets in Manila seemed a lot safer than when i visited 2 years ago I love the Philippines , If your a young white guy you get worshipped as a god I bleached a lot of college girls in Manila and Cebu
Parker Walker
First that, and now this.
Adrian Nelson
He's always been okay with marijuana, and even expressed support for legalizing its medical use before.
It's really shabu dude, that shit fucks you in the head.
Easton Perez
Okay, honestly the whole War-on-Drugs has three fronts. We must realize that there's more to this than what we can see on the streets. It's political, social, and spiritual. Political is for the (((people))) who funds or helps drug lords in any way. Social is the support of the people; once support is lost, it'll be hard to continue the war. Spiritual is the support of the local faith and how they would respond; this can affect the support of the people. That's because security is now tight and those crime-committing are now afraid to get out the light.
Jaxson Sanders
>he cam begging the US to send out NAVY to protect you guys
can you show a link source?
There was news about this a few weeks ago but people misunderstood. The timeline was not correct.
I think the right timeline is
>Duterte "broke up" with the Obama's USA >befriended China >in an interview, he blamed the US for not defending South China Sea, that's why he befriended China
But people misunderstood the sequence to mean: >Fuck off US >China you're my new bestfriend >WAAHH USA why didn't you defend us? Please come back
Oliver Jenkins
IT'S THE
Evan Nguyen
It seems all the criminals are afraid not just the drug pushers 2 years ago people in the street always tried to scam me or get me hookers but now everybody was nice and i had a real good time I even was in some slum areas alone (Tondo) and nobody tried to rob or scam me
Nathaniel Morgan
He Gives free Helicopter rides to Marxists. He cant be all bad.
