Why the fuck are taxes so fucking complicated? I just spent 3 hours using a "fast tax" software and it still made no damn sense. Taxes should be simple enough that any citizen can understand without needing a god damn lawyer or dictionary on hand. Most of the terms I had never heard of until I started doing my taxes. Every year it changes too, and the CRA's service is so poor, plus their website is so helpless. I hate the government so much.
Not to mention if you don't do it exactly right they come and arrest you. Nothing reminds me that I'm a slave more than tax season
