delusional capitalist

Good wartime President. Shit tier economist

>sold bombs to iran
>legalized millions of illegals
>gave weapons to terrorists to fight evil gommunism

The best one!

The original neocon.

Form over substance. Senile in his second term. Praised by delusional idiots.
Played no real part in breakup of USSR despite memes of his delusional fans.

Actor and GE spokesman and Bohemian Grove member. He was OK talked a big game but they let him know real quick they wanted him out of the way so he got in line.

Jewish puppet. Henry Kissinger and the Council on Foreign Relations, look it up fag
>Kissinger was born Heinz Alfred Kissinger in Fürth, Bavaria, Germany, in 1923 during the Weimar Republic, to a family of German Jews

That's Irving Kristol, Bill's dad

>Shit tier economist
Why?

This. Petrodollar economy killed the Western way of life.

Facile ideologue television celebrity. Same as Trump.

>reaganomics
>literally the budget will balance itself
>fucking trudeau

Topkek, at least he told funny jokes.

Charismatic and fun guy, cool jokes, always happy and always smiled (pleasant person to be around).

But other than that, he didn't do jack shit.

>inb4 he defeated the USSR
nope, collapsed on it's own, because communism isn't a sustainable economic model.

Why then he was re-elected with landslide and vice-president George H.W. Bush won after his second term?

Actor, not at all a factor

I hate regan he deregulated too much leading to the Jews consolidating media, and played the fake Cold War game

He was meh

cuck who legalised a shitton of illegals + sucked muslim dick

>emblem of Fürth

history has a lot more surprises in store for us goyim

>Gorbachev is on the process of tearing down berlin war
>Mr Gorbachev tear down this war
>Reagan gets all the credit for doing litterally nothing
>GOP views him as a god foreverse
Most overrated politicIan I'm american history

>Jews consolidating media
Haven't they cosolidated media far before Reagan?

True conservative, great man. Best US President.

No fault divorce
Allowed California to become the cesspool it is today
Married an insane person who invited fortune tellers into the white house
Really not that great of a guy

Fucking autocorrect making me type like a crackhead

This is false. The credit is shared. When Reagan and the US increased military spending to unseen proportions in the 80s the writing was on the wall for the USSR. We outspent them into oblivion. This combined with Perestroika caused the downfall.

Carter hurt the pride of the U.S.
Reagan gave us a false sense of accomplishment.
In modern politics:
Relative peace leads Democrats, relative war leans Republicans.

Ever since the Great Depression.

Trump v1.0, talked a lot but only really managed to achieve gridlock. Got beat up by the MSM a lot, they had much more power back then.

I'd argue that oil prices had more to do with collapse of the Soviet Union than anything else. It was Venezuela write large.

Soviet defense spending didn't increase in 80's.
Main reason for Soviet collapse was political, not economic, even if economic situation played a significant role.
He didn't do shit in this regard.

he had multiple scandals way, way worse than Watergate

just shows the power of media
especially then

they were determined to bring down Nixon

Entertainment star. Big-government globalist. Like Trump, except Reagan managed to squeeze in some effective years before dementia set in.

They couldn't feed themselves. I'd say that's as much an economic as a political issue. Gorby started giving the peasants freedom so that they might start feeding themselves and they took the freedom and immediately started agitating to leave.

>implying Ollie North isn't a real American hero

The best U.S. president was Calvin Coolidge, but a guy like that could never get elected today.

>In the Boston Police Strike, Boston police officers went on strike on September 9, 1919. They sought recognition for their trade union and improvements in wages and working conditions. Police Commissioner Edwin Upton Curtis denied that police officers had any right to form a union, much less one affiliated with a larger organization like the American Federation of Labor (AFL). Attempts at reconciliation between the Commissioner and the police officers, particularly on the part of Boston's Mayor Andrew James Peters, failed.

>During the strike, Boston experienced several nights of lawlessness, although property damage was not extensive. Several thousand members of the State Guard, supported by volunteers, restored order. Press reaction both locally and nationally described the strike as Bolshevik-inspired and directed at the destruction of civil society. The strikers were called "deserters" and "agents of Lenin."

>Samuel Gompers of the AFL recognized that the strike was damaging the cause of labor in the public mind and advised the strikers to return to work. Commissioner Curtis refused to re-hire the striking policemen. He was supported by Massachusetts Governor Calvin Coolidge, whose rebuke of Gompers earned him a national reputation. The strike proved a setback for labor unions, and the AFL discontinued its attempts to organize police officers for another two decades. Coolidge won the Republican nomination for vice-president of the U.S. in the 1920 presidential election.

everything about him, and Thatcher while we're at it, should be boxed up and forgotten

Conservatism became de-industrialization, the importation of cheap labor to benefit the 'business that is America!', vague wishy-washy warmed over egalitarianism, and obedience to Israel. Nakedly bourgeois middle-class horseshit that has nothing to do with right wing ideas, but is what the Jews let pass for 'safe conservatism'.

Gay

Didn't Reagan have the biggest electoral victory of all time? Or close?

Compared to Carter, Reagan was an excellent president. I mean Carter literally did absolutely nothing except fuck us on Nuclear energy and Camp David accords and look weak. He was pathetic. I'm not going to listen to you edgelords sperg about this anyways... but RR made the right call economically by focusing on inflation first then unemployment. He brought some respect back to the whitehouse, and most importantly he was a narrative changer for the Russians that the country needed. For many years before Reagan the Republicans had been realigning the country, and Carter was a way to delay that process (Southerner and all as he was). But the process had started with Goldwater and Reagan was the realization of it.

And yes he did have something to do with the Cold War. In the 1970s both USSR and USA looked weak, faltering, and with the election the Americans seemingly revived themselves with a charismatic leader. The Soviet subjects would look across at America and say "we are failing but they are not." Reagan's image, attitude, and policy at the time they came along were critical to the global culture war aspect of the Cold War. His presidency was in THE critical time for the Cold War resolution and you cannot ignore it. Whether this would have occurred without him or not is all speculation and while interesting coffee table conversation, it doesn't change the fact that he was the President during the time when our biggest and potentially most destructive enemy for many decades was finally defeated.

he was a tough cookie

Reagan in his dementia years:
>what's that mr. CIA man? Put Jews in a bunch of high ranking positions? Sure they were nice to me in Hollywood, made a movie star with a chimpanzee.

Pros
>good leadership qualities
>was able to see the country through the essential collapse of the USSR
Cons
>blew up deficit
>war on Drugs was a failure (I don't support it but let's look for another way)
>funded both Iran and Iraq
>gave illegals citizenship
>wife is batshit
>NeoCohen to the max

2/10 desu

In Eastern Block Reagan is considered one of the greatest POTUS in history.
