Capitalism is absolutely degenerate. I can't believe the number of people who actually support it on here, the supposed haven for the red-pilled.
Let's list the pros and cons.
Pros. Pushes forward the development of technology.
....
Cons. Doesn't care about anything that doesn't make money (space travel? why bother?). Will literally import sand niggers, advocate for feminism (god forbid they lose some business while protecting the country) destroy the environment and drive species to extinction all for a quick buck.
Captitalism MUST be regulated but that can't be done in a society where it's not just allowed but LITERALLY ENCOURAGED to lobby for different politicians. We're all fucked. You cunts love to talk about the communism death toll. How about the capitalism death toll. >Everyone killed by a sand nigger in terrorist attacks. >Everyone who died before 50 from a heart attack due to garbage food. >Everyone who died in your pointless wars that were lobbied by your cancerous businesses.
Got another one for yah. >Everyone who killed themselves after being fucked over by lawyers who don't actually care about what's right or wrong but instead care only about prolonging the inevitable so they can drain more money out of their 'clients'.
Andrew Torres
And why is that?
Jack Gomez
No-one going to rebut with some pros that I missed? Not even surprised I suppose.
Landon Parker
space travel makes loads of money you stupid commie, half the technology you're using to make this dogshit thread stem from the space race
Parker Jackson
And who was that funded by? The capitalists or the tax dollars? You mongoloid. Also I'm not a commie. If you had any kind of inferential intelligence you would realise I believe capitalism is a necessary evil for functioning society but it needs to be regulated by a governing body that can't be bought out by the scum fucked business owners.
Charles Ramirez
because you're too busy worrying about highschool assessment to give it any real thought right now
Colton Evans
so you offer literally no alternative? GOOD POST
Nathan Barnes
Space travel has the potential to earn a ridiculous amount of money. Space tourism, asteroid mining for precious/rare metals, colonisation of other planets. I can't even be bothered addressing the rest of your shitty arguments but space is cool dude.
Aaron Smith
The answer is social democracy with free market global (yes global) capitalism. Such system isn't localized so it should theoretically care about environment on the local level. Good examples is the Scandinavia region. Aside thr fact that some of their politicians want to destroy the local culture, the economic model actually works wonders making them prosperous and the quality of life highest in the world.
Sebastian Johnson
Name a single for profit organization that is currently funding space travel.
David Bell
Get some perspective you stupid nigger.
William Brooks
No-ones who's disagreed with me has bothered to point out any errors and instead resort to insulting the person and not the idea. I'm impressed you really showed me what's what.
John Nelson
>jews did nothing wrong kek. fuck off leech.
Ryan Price
There is no alternative to capitalism. As I said it's a necessary evil but the answer to that is regulation that can't be bought off. I have no idea how to do that though as everyone is morally bankrupt and it's just a question of money.
Christopher Foster
Capitalism is indeed shit There's just no other choice. It is impossible to have a form of government that is not beholden to lobbyists, special interests, and/or nepotism. No such animal.
Sebastian Murphy
literally everyone on this board is 20 pages ahead of you. Lurk moar
Levi Young
You need to be 18 or older to post on this website. Go back to /r/eddit, underage and uneducated faggot.
Oliver Brooks
what a boring response. I don't give a fuck if you believe me, Google 'space travel companies' and find out for yourself. This isn't reddit where you get to ask for a source or my claim is discredited faggot
Jaxon Cooper
you wouldn't even have a computer to type this bullshit on if it weren't for capitalism you dumb fuck. quite being a retard. no system is perfect, but try naming one that's done more for humanity than the one that has given us everything we know.
Nicholas Long
>"muh burden of proof is on the non-believer"
Ryan Scott
Capitalism or Communism. I forget the one that was the first to put a living thing in orbit. Can you remind me.
Grayson Cruz
Every other alternative is not only 10 times more catastrofic but also regresses humanity as a whole. One day you will grow up, also: >Everyone who died before 50 from a heart attack due to garbage food. What the fuck is your point? That people shouldn't have the FREEDOM to do what they please, including stuffing their fat face till they die? It's on them you god damn commie.
Hudson Gray
>most successful country in space- USA >also most capitalistic
pretty sure you're fucking with us
Oliver Rodriguez
The NSA. Last time I checked it wasn't a business. It was funded by your juicy tax dollars. Did I mention capitalism supports welfare? >Tax the burgermunchers to >Pay for welfare so they can >Spend that welfare on their burgers
Hudson Cruz
LOLLL they sent a fucking dog first bc they new they couldn't trust their own shit
Nicholas Gray
That's a solid argument you've got yourself there. It definitely doesn't refute your own narrative you fuckwit burger.
Yea and if I was making an outrageous claim that would be the case. For something as mundane as 'are there any space exploration companies' burden of proof can be reversed because it's hardly outrageous. But I'll bite because I just thought of one: SpaceX.
Noah Hill
I already thought of that as it would be the most obvious response. However I wouldn't say SpaceX is really a for profit organization. Elon Musk is a madman (in a good way) he's not interested in making money from SpaceX he has said (many times) that his main goal in founding SpaceX is seeding life beyond Earth. Elon already owns many businesses which he uses the profits of to cover the massive deficit that SpaceX generated. There's a reason SpaceX was the FIRST privately funded space agency. That's because literally no-one else is mad enough to do it because there are no real profits to be made and millions of dollars would need to be spent setting it up. Elon doesn't care, he's in it to advance mankind.
Kayden Ramirez
If the second reused rocket Falcon 9 launch that was completed last month is any indication Elon stands to not only make millions and advance space travel but also incentivize other companies to invest in the industry due to the massive 80-90% cost reduction and massively reduced down time.
Musk is an idealist but he does not let his idealism blind his business sense, he wouldn't be who he was and we wouldn't be talking about him if he did. You would be a fool if you think SpaceX is built as a personal vanity/PR project with no intention to turn a profit.
