I've never met a communist worker (steel worker myself).
All the communists/radical socialist I bump into are either paid to do politics, either elected or as lobbyist for a union of, color me surprised, welfare recipients . (Danish labor day was just a few days ago, so fresh in my mind this be)

Most communists/intellectuals or ideologues of any type aren't workers because workers don't have enough time to develop these fanciful theories or anything because they're just working all the time. In my experience they're pragmatically fine with capitalism so long as there are regulations, etc. in place to help them since they realize that the capitalists provide them with jobs.

The comunism is the only way to live better for normal people. The capitalism is the only way to protect the rich people.

Communist was the first who were trying to explain people how banks work. Pol Pot (not a good-tier communist, but still) for example even arranged warehouse for fertilizer in a central bank of Phnom Penh.

And every communist theoretic I read was against usury. In most communist states usury was prohibited (in our country as an example).
