"The NHS has been declared the best healthcare system by an international panel of experts who rated its care superior to countries which spend far more on health."
but then...
"only..black mark against..NHS was its poor record on keeping people alive"
Stick to you "stand in ten year long lines for care" you stupid Canadian fuck.
Jacob Moore
Why should you have your medical care funded by your governement? What a ridiculous idea. You know your government is just there to give money to Israel to spend on defending their country that they gained by terrorism. Fighting wars for Israel is far more important than helping someone in agony dying of cancer. (((Insurance))) company profits have got to be kept up goy. It's almost as if some people think that their government is there to actually help it's citizens.

>The same study also castigated healthcare provision in the US as the worst of the 11 countries it looked at.
I see why you're posting this bait now.
>The only serious black mark against the NHS was its poor record on keeping people alive
>On a composite "healthy lives" score, which includes deaths among infants and patients who would have survived had they received timely and effective healthcare, the UK came 10th.
>The authors say that the healthcare system cannot be solely blamed for this issue, which is strongly influenced by social and economic factors. Although the NHS came third overall for the timeliness of care, its "short waiting times" were praised.
Welp, its fucking true. A bit of doublethink isn't it? In one breath to say we can't keep people alive because of a lack of access to fast treatment, and in another to praise short waiting times.
Why did you even fucking bother to add in ellipses and remove parts of the quote?
Why didn't you include the link in the original post?
Why not include the rest of the information?
Jordan Powell
>Study rates NHS tops and USA worst. >NHS can't keep people alive.
Pick one.
Luis Bell
Honestly the reason the NHS is shit is because
>funding cuts >too many fucking african nurses >too many foreign workers in general >a lack of surprise inspections by third party bodies that legally have all-areas-access unless its something retarded like a clean room or an operating theatre during a procedure
Barnet General Hospital is well known as a death trap by people who rely on it.
When my grandfather went to Whitechapel hospital, they put a fucking catheter in him, destroyed his ability to piss normally in the process (forcing him to wear a catheter bag), and hgave him sub par treatment. Whenever I went to visit him, all the staff were fucking niggers, and the hospital felt disgusting. It was impossible to find anyone to talk to regarding my grandfather's treatment, state and progress.

Answer my questions shitlord.
You could have started a decent discussion in your original post.
Try harder next time, despite being a faggot you have potential.
Benjamin Stewart
Poor fellow. Whitechapel, Probably one of the worst places to end up in hospital in the UK I would imagine. Hope you sued them
Samuel Anderson
Aww sweety... sticking up for your autistic son. That's sooooo cute!
Luis White
Please explain how you can have the top rated healthcare system when your patients keep dying? It's a simple question.
Ethan Brooks
You guys should just accept you got BTFO. I worked as a cardiologist at Princess Margaret during my post-doc, the Canadian health care wait time meme is just that - a meme.
When I was doing my internship at Hopkins I saw the US health care system up close. Its an embarrassment. I would take Canada over USA every single day of the week. Even the doctors are better qualified/motivated.

The Guardian is unironically the most anti-British news outlet in the world

my aunt had a fall in the uk and went into a coma
a bit after, my uncle was told if she saw a specialist there was a chance she could wake up
nhs wouldn't pay for it, she's still in a coma 6 years later
universal healthcare is a wonder!
Colton Cruz
Shouldn't you be working? How is Schlomo going to build his next settlement unless you have some taxes to pay to the (((US))) government?
Christian Cruz
The Guardian is kissing NHS' ass. They buried the part about its glaring failure in the middle of the article.
Angel Carter
It's a fucking opinion article "bad at keeping people alive" is not a statistic
Landon Gomez
The NHS isn't perfect. It has faults. But Britain isn't as rich as the USA by far. If the USA had the same system they would have a lot more money to spend on it.
Elijah Moore
>"On a composite "healthy lives" score, which includes deaths among infants and patients who would have survived had they received timely and effective healthcare, the UK came 10th." >not a statistic.
Whew lad!
Daniel Parker
we can't even afford to have 6% of the US on Obamacare there is no system that can have 100% Americans on it.
Anthony Diaz
Why can the UK do it then?
Isaiah Ortiz
We already do. They're called Emergency Rooms.
Josiah Davis
>unironically removing this quote from context of the rest of the study
>who would have survived had they received timely and effective healthcare
Julian Morgan
Yes, single payer is best

>when nobody talks about Switzerland's healthcare system and instead point to systems that are broken as fuck but not as broken as our system for the example to follow
Jayden Cox
Switzerland still pays over 2 grand per capita more than the UK

$38 Billion military Aid to Israel At least $1.1 Trillion on a war for Israel against Iraq.
Achmed might have access to the NHS but at least I do as well
Schlomo has bankrupted your country with his wars but you still have to pay a fortune for your healthcare and to keep the (((shareholders))) of the insurance companies happy.
