Seriously, try going to mass a couple times. Maybe find a primer of some kind on the basic theology. The intellectual underpinnings or the ritual and community might surprise you. Some people find faith before these things, and others find it after. You could even try to get in contact with a priest and explain your thoughts and ask about learning more.
If you can get yourself into a religious or faithful mindset I think you will find it really helps you keep a sound foundation for everything else. There is purpose and a reassurance about the fact that there is a way things are supposed to be. Best of all, things don't ultimately seem meaningless. It might seem like a huge illusion at first. Even religious people deal with that. I wrestle with it from time to time and u have been Catholic all my life.
