I live in one

There's like only one nigger, lots of asians and whites

good

They soothe my autism desu.

I wish I lived in a comfy American suburb with lots of trees, spacious houses and big gardens. It's always been a dream of mine, probably just from seeing them in films and stuff.

Copy paste houses hurt my soul. At least find a suburb that copy pastes like six houses so there's an attempt at visual variety.

vancouver fag here. what is this, "suburban"??

looks depressing tbqh pham

I live in one that's pretty nice. Your only worry is storms that might blow the trees over on your house.

Too much "industrial" for my liking.
Rural is better

They're ok with some minor refinements:

1) Each house should have a pool
2) There should be a form of public transportation outside the suburb to avoid the long commuting trips to work/school/etc.

Other than that, they're great.

Yay

Yay. It's good to live far away from negroes.

Where are the pools, parks, ice skating rinks, and cafes though?

This + it has to be close to stores

I want the least interaction with other human beings as possible... so nay

hate them. just like cube farms, they are soul crushing.

get some land out in the country

downtown

I live in one now, I preferred living in a rural area.

Pool and tennis courts in neighborhood. Cafes are close by car. Ice rinks are in Canada with dog fucking faggot leafs.

Actually with major cities being gentrified all the poor are being pushed out to the burbs.

looks so comfy

They promote a soul-crushing disembodied existence where everything must conform to the system

Seriously is a .22 even a gun? I'm pretty sure you can do more damage throwing a rock.

>Copy paste houses hurt my soul. At least find a suburb that copy pastes like six houses so there's an attempt at visual variety.
Oh, would you rather live somewhere with THIS visual variety?

Seriously, suburbs look pretty fucking comfy.

its good now, but it will go downhill once all the mexicans move in. They tend to park their 10 cars on the lawn and street ( 10 cars is not a overestimation ). Once enough mexicans move in doing this all the whites get sick of their shit and move out, then the niggers move in cause the housing is shit and it turns into a nigger neighborhood. Welp there's only so much you can do

Is Brazil normally this dystopian and cyberpunk?

A Jew plot to destroy our communities by taking away all space for natural informal public interaction. Our smallest towns used to have main streets and be walkable and safe for children

I've never been but yours look soulless and dreadful. It's like a big art-piece on the negative parts of capitalism.

Our suburbs are where they placed our "projects" so they're full of commie blocks and immigrants.

>our suburbs are where they placed our "projects" so they're full of commie blocks and immigrants.
Which is like a big art-piece on the negative parts of socialism, come to think of it.

They aren't meant to replace small towns, they were meant to facilitate urban sprawl around a city for easy commutes to work.
Most of them are centered around some form of strip mall or shopping center.

They're cool, as long they have a good urban design (trees, streets, front yards and sidewalks).

Suburbs are cooler if they have diverse types of house design, old and new. and the bigger the trees are on a neighborhood, the more beautiful it can be and more high the land value (unless the place is ridden with undesirables)

little boxes

>tfw Europe is a high tech favela

New burbs fix this. Gotta avoid them.

Suburbs are like commieblocks for those in denial.
I grew up in suburbs.
I've lived in massive apartment complexes near downtown.
Now I own acreage in a very rural area.
I'll never go back to that controlled lifestyle

No, no, no. Most people live in the suburbs to get away from the people in the city. We do not want a low cost fast track option for them to blight our lands.

>Now I own acreage in a very rural area
This is my dream and I'll make it happen

Yes, and that shopping center is invariably impossible for most to access on foot because of lack of connected sidewalks and crosswalks. Why don't they have mixed use zoning? Corner stores? Apartments above commercial spaces? Because of the fucking kikes who have destroyed our society. And the bootlicker goys who grow up in these non communities eat Jew shit and think it's chocolate.

They only look soulless because they're new. Older suburbs look nice now but at one time looked soulless. You have to give the residents enough time to customize their property to their liking, change ownership, let those people customize to their liking, and so on. Give it 50 years and that place won't look soulless with home additions, siding changes, tall trees, landscaping changes, etc.

How rural are we talking? If you're not interacting with people then it's a degenerate lifestyle

>Is Brazil normally this dystopian and cyberpunk?
Yes, you have literal favelas right next to huge mansions.

>tfw Europe is a high tech favela
Some parts of it are, most of those parts are on eastern europe.

DC area suburbs tried this but they pay for it with hellish commutes. See: Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.

I dig the dystopian aesthetic. If the people weren't godawful huemonkies and I could get decent internet I wouldn't mind. I can put in the carpentry work to make the inside nice.

Now we know you have no idea of what you're talking about. That new construction is made from such cheap materials that the houses have a maximum shelflife of 40 years, and the cost of renovation far exceeds the value because of the construction techniques. This shit is disposable crap the Jews are bleeding our country dry with. Once we're dead, they'll move on and destroy another society.

This board is for 18 and older.

>If the people weren't godawful huemonkies and I could get decent internet I wouldn't mind.
Well, the people that live in those favelas ARE godawful huemonkies, you would not enjoy it.

Internet here can be pretty fast if you get a decent provider, but then again these favelas all steal internet, energy and water so the people in there accept the poor quality internet and services since they are getting it for free.

>I can put in the carpentry work to make the inside nice.
Sure, but when all those wooden sheds catch on fire your house will be in the middle of a flaming inferno, with no access to firefighting services might I add. You would be better off living in rural areas, which conserve a good amount of the dystopian aesthetic with the conveniences of living in a suburb. For example, I live in a city with 79.9% white population, 8% asians and the rest are either niggers or natives, which are usually concentrated in the worse parts of town.

There is no separation between the different houses. No wall or bushes or whatever to delimit one's property.

lol?

I feel that the problem is our society actively discourages becoming complacent in our material desires. It's not enough to just have a home to raise your family, now the demand is for McMansions in choice locations, and when the kids move out it's time to sell it and find a condo. We're always looking for the next thing instead of learning to appreciate and grow with the things we have.

Country > suburbs >> city

Have you ever lived in a suburb? It's amazing how hundreds of people can live within a two mile radius and you'll never have to meaningfully interact with any of them.

Another Jew plot to destabilize and undermine our culture--rampant materialism goes hand in hand with disposable suburbs designed to prevent to formation of strong community ties. And look how strong the cognitive dissonance is, how ardently the kings of the suburbs defend their mcmansion lifestyle "choices".

A long commute is the price for safety. Nothing is free.

Fuck da burbs. I like being able to shoot and ride motorcycles on my property.

Fucking godawful. No concern for or connection to the natural environment, just shove as many houses into a small area for maximum profit. I'd live in a rural area, a Victorian townhouse or build my own house before I'd live in a shitty mass-produced suburb. They're just another facet of globalist consumerism that's erasing all culture and people's connection to their environment. They're nothing but comfortable commieblocks.

>This has driven the evolution of American suburbia into a holding pen for a rootless population of transients as they move from job to job while climbing the corporate ladder. An overwhelming number of residents in suburban areas have few, if any, ties to those living even next door to them. In many cases, they may not even know their neighbours, even while sharing with those around them a common “suburban” mindset of soccer games and backyard barbeques. The criticism of the counter-culturalists that the suburbs encourage conformity are on the mark. However, conformity does not equal community, and your kids playing on a seasonal soccer team with the neighbour kids does not create or reinforce genuine lasting bonds of loyalty and fellowship.

neociceroniantimes.wordpress.com/2016/04/24/things-that-have-helped-to-destroy-americas-social-cohesion-part-1-the-suburbs/

A good environment to raise a traditional family in. I approve.

Thanks for the input, Ian.

Yay.

I feel closer to my neighbors while living in a suburban, single-family house than in an apartment complex. I actually know my neighbors and talk to them when we happen to be outside (which is often, since yardwork and dog ownership force people to come outside their houses regularly).

The meme that suburbs like OP's pic isolate people is totally false.

Now we get to the root--the Jew propaganda has successfully turned you into a coward. Afraid of your own countrymen, of the savage nigger confined to his impoverished ghetto. Good goy, be afraid. Trust only (((our))) media and banks.

They're fine. I would like more variety in the styles of houses built but that's often a zoning issue and home owners association thing. HOAs are shit.

I have lived in both inner city and burbs. Burbs are much better. The """culture""" of inner city living is something I would rather not be in close proximity to.

During imperial rule we segregated poor people. They banded together in low value land (hills) next to the cities, we call them "favela"s, which roughly translates to hive/honeycomb-like constructions. During our economic growth these communities became less marginalized power-wise and elected some politicians and stuff and the criminal people have been getting suppressed somewhat. This is of course done through police and even military intervention.

The hive idea also works to describe their behaviour to outsiders, you provoke them by trying to cut the roots of the criminals and they sting you back (see burning buses). They're fairly close between themselves though, usually christian and are probably the closest current-world community temperamentally to the old pleb in Rome.

This isn't a good representation of Brazil as a whole though. They're well known because they're seen as a great argument for public discourse for just about anything.

The suburbs are a pretty boring place to live in. There's nothing to do for fun aside from go to the mall to shop, eat at the restaurant, and go to church. The bus network sucks and it takes almost an hour or two to get where I have to go.

Not an argument. If you like the suburbs, I could easily post a picture of the suburbs of Detroit.

Nay. Like commie blocks, but substituting The Party for corporations and other consumerist generica. Breeding grounds for slovenly and sheltered people. Rural or urban is better.

nay
I like privacy, but I also cannot stand the "suburban tranquility" of cookie cutter houses, non stop sound of lawn mowers, dogs barking, etc.
If you like it, good for you, it's just not my cup of tea. I do not understand why people choose to live in a suburb with a tiny piece of land and no privacy which costs more than something outside of town with more land and privacy. But hey, more for us.

Beats living in nigger hives.

This right here. The suburbs are all right, lots of public parks and greenery. I can walk to a skating rink, public pool, or library in 15 minutes. Niggers are banned. (Aboriginals are the canadian forest nigger and they have no money so they are not around)
Rural though is top tier. Be completely prepared for end times, shoot rabbits for food just cause you can. Grow potatoes. No light pollution.
All niggers are banned period. (Forest niggers are forced onto reserves)

It's almost like a bunch of corporations colluded with banks to farm humans like consumer cattle.

even commie blocks are better

human cattle AKA the goyim,
and now you know.

Look at all that connection to the natural environment. There must be 10 whole bushes on that block alone.

>They're well known because they're seen as a great argument for public discourse for just about anything

So you mean that if anybody complains about some policy or law, they mention favelas to try to convince politicians and the public to change tings?

>No light pollution.

lol!
Dude, you obviously haven't looked at the night sky in the country.

why they exist, to get away from the inner city negroes

Wow people are fail. America with some of the lowest density cities in the world. In most the world those burb houses would be stacked on top of each other.
It looks fine, property values keeping out the dindus.
if you can find an exurb/commuter town instead of burb within reasonable distance go for it. Or live in the midwest where land to build is plenty.

You may as well worry about lightning hitting you on the way into your home

If you know anything about Victorian town planning, you'd know they knew how to build in high density that was still sympathetic to the environment and left room for green spaces, took vistas into account etc. instead of just rolling out low tract housing like a roll of carpet across the landscape.

Depends on the suburb, big city suburbs are kind of depressing because any time you want to leave your house you have to get in your car and fight traffic, and all you have there is a bunch of shitty malls and big box stores. Small town suburbs are much nicer, because you still have some nature and you can actually walk to places.

yep,

personal experience: this has been happening in London - all the slavshit immigrants and non-white poorfags who didn't come in the 80s and 90s when there was free social housing now live in the outer regions of the city, in the suburbs

the center is beautiful, rich and white, the burbs full of shitskins and (southern) slavs, and the edge of London is white again because of white flight

>amerifats defending their hugely overpriced cardboard-built human-cattle farms

How the fuck is that any better than a suburb, other than the fact that you average suburb has way more nature than that? The main reason that picture looks somewhat nice is because it's in a hilly area.

Fuck dealing with a 4 hour per day commute in this area. That is one of the big reasons whi DC is gentrifying so quickly because this area has some of the worse commute times in the nation.

I don't like them, they're pretty soulless and worst of both worlds.

You can't have a large are to do things and you don't get easy access to anywhere. The only advantage is that the houses are larger and there is ample parking.

Oh, you mean the area called "out of town". Yea, that's not unique. When you look at the actual neighborhood I see only a few shrubs and possible vines. A 100 sq ft park does not mean you're sympathetic to the environment. It means you realized your neighborhoods look like shit and tried to fix it by planting 10 trees in the middle of it.

Pic related is a very typical London suburb that was hastily built during a population boom between the two world wars. Horribly, depressing soulless housing that once housed whites but now largely hosts non-whites.

Can you imagine living here, Sup Forums? I'm happy I moved away from it.

How the fuck does construction even happen in a place like this? Are all building codes just thrown out the window? Do random people just start building a house themselves in the crack between two other buildings going "Yeah, this'll fit"?

Bunch of cucks who ran away from the cities.

yep. rosslyn fag here. well worth the extra 200-300 per month in rent to not have to think about a driving commute and save on metro parking if I were to be near a line on the outskirts. Being able to walk to georgetown is p nice as well.

>How the fuck does construction even happen in a place like this? Are all building codes just thrown out the window? Do random people just start building a house themselves in the crack between two other buildings going "Yeah, this'll fit"?
You answered your own questions, that is exactly what happens.

Sometimes the government covertly sets these on fire to force them to relocate, they just move somewhere else and rebuild the entire fucking thing in less than 3 days!

It would be amazing if this kind of labour could be focused on something usefull to the development of the country, wouldn't it? But they lack discipline or knowledge on proper construction techniques, despite their incredible ability to build these monstrosities in such short time!

You obviously do not live farther then 10 kms from a city.

I like them. They look comfy as fuck.

American suburbs are the most beautiful and comfy thing I've ever seen. I visited my Yank cousins who lived in suburban Portland, during fall, and it was magical.

I should note that that is probably a side effect of growing up in the city.

pic related. That fucking...thing...sold for over 2 million U.S.

Thanks China!

Pic related - Average day on our streets. Annoying as fuck.

youtu.be/VPRjCeoBqrI

Here is a pic of housing that was build 150-200 yrs ago, closer to the center (when, I guess, it was more of a suburb/rural area)

Still, the quality of the housing is much higher, the design of the street is superior, you don't need a car as public transport is factored in.

Much more comfy desu but too expensive (these houses are about £2M

There are plenty of safe places in DC, you just can't be poor.

Meh if you want a house for privacy you won't get it in the city because your neighboors are still 5 feet away in those dense settings.

Suburbs are a tiny bit better but you will hear your neighbors all the time and more so when their shrieking kids are playing in the yard.

Best living is slightly rural where you can have a couple acres and shoot guns in your backyard, no chance of hearing your shitty neighbors. No HOAs. Actual freedom.

Looks crunchy. Are there roads under all that?

Pic related for the exact type of houses I grew up in. I fucking hate them. Jammed together like sardines surrounded by every kind of degenerate fuck up and retard the globe can send us.

produces some nice music I guess.

youtu.be/l5bHGMDAgOo

>Much more comfy

Having your home a foot away from another home isn't comfy at all, zero privacy.

My city has a bus service with express transit to downtown Minneapolis. Picks you up from a transit facility in the burbs drives straight downtown, makes like 4 stops to drop people off then comes back to the hub.
