I'm a liberal and I'd like to read a convincing, well written, concise and fact-based introduction to any right-wing ideology that is secular. I will try to be as open minded as possible.
If this isn't possible, please link any (well researched and high quality) material that will challenge my believes:
Materialism is true. “Humankind is good by nature but is corrupted by society” Harming people outside self defense is almost always wrong. Most of what Jesus taught was good. Any form of nationalism is wrong. Austrian school is pseudo-science. Libertarianism, anarchism, communism and fascism are utopian visions.
I fear I might need to post this to /lit/, but I'll give you guys a try.
Can I recommend you Google 'the abolition of ethnocentric behaviour'
Imo all the ideology in the world will not change what we are at a biological level and its best that we formulate societies on that which is given.

I'm a free market capitalist and I'd like to see a concise definition of what makes an ideology right-wing, because my beliefs have almost no overlap with fascism (citing Mussolini's Italy) or National Socialism (citing Nazi Germany).

What do you mean "I'm a liberal"? That statement is ambiguous. Liberalism was originally a right wing economic philosophy until it was appropriated some years later to mean the exact opposite of what it actually means. What do you think makes you a liberal? Also what makes someone right wing? In my experience to most people on the left any one slightly to the right of their views is right-wing. If you answer these questions I can answer yours.

>Materialism is true. >Any form of nationalism is wrong.
I don't know how anyone can hold both of these beliefs. They're inherently contradictory. Are you postulating that EVERY civilation in human history developed ethnocentrism basically as an accident? No, it is obviously genetically and culturally advantageous.
John Lee
>Austrian school is pseudoscience
But it's proven to work, when it's been implemented at some level it's seen economic growth.
Also it's ironic you call yourself a liberal when the original idea of liberalism was a product of the Austrian school of economic thought.

>any form of nationalism is wrong Do you know why men create groups? Let us say the apocalypse has happened billions have died, there is no infrastructure to speak of, there is water scarcity, food scarcity and scarcity of many other supplies. You are out there with about 20 pals of yours, and you are trying to survive. You and also other gangs of 20-30 people. In you area there is merely enough supplies for 2-3 gangs to survive, and there are 20 gangs in total. So you join one or two other gangs (or remain on your own, whatever), armed to the teeth. First you find shelter, a place to spend the night without feeling the harsh caress of mother nature (much). Around said shelter you establish your perimeter, your border, which all of you guard in turns. To maximise efficiency, you establish some sort of code of conduct. All members must obey, otherwise they are out of the gang at best, and will get themselves and many others killed at worst. No members from other gangs are allowed inside your territory, because they would steal your resources. Also, you need to secure more food and water and materials, which you cannot produce. Thus you need to kill other gangs to take theirs. It's war for survival.
Apply this to a nation, or even city-level scale, and you get nationalism. Long story short, nationalism is human nature. Recommended book to start the redpill: "The Way of Men" from Jack Donovan.

Nietzsche is one of the best imo. Its written so that you have to stop yourself and think, it's intended so that the pleb doesn't read him.

>Materialism is true.
Too fucking vague. What are you even talking about?
>“Humankind is good by nature but is corrupted by society”
It's obviously false, because society is an inherent part of humanity. There is no single man, and there never has been. So clearly, if you believe that society is inherently corrupting, then humanity must be inherently corrupt. Congrats, you're well on your way to Christian confirmation.
>Harming people outside self defense is almost always wrong.
The only question here, since this is the most fucking anodyne statement I've ever read, is what you think constitutes self-defense.
>Most of what Jesus taught was good.
All of it was good.
>Any form of nationalism is wrong
Why? You're the one making the positive claim: you provide the evidence.
>Austrian school is pseudo-science.
Agreed.
>Libertarianism, anarchism, communism and fascism are utopian visions.
Agreed, in their pure forms. Libertarianism and fascism have good points. The rest are purely vile.
>spoonfeed me
No. This isn't how discussion works.

>Materialism is true. Not true, look at jungle tribes who will defend with their lives a sacred stick but would rather flee than fight for their possessions >“Humankind is good by nature but is corrupted by society” Mankind is not good by nature, it is selfish by nature, unless you're agreeing with rand and many others that altruism doesn't exist and being selfish is the way we create the best world. >Harming people outside self defense is almost always wrong. I somewhat agree. However if you see a man in the park for example beating his wife or girlfriend, can you not physically stop him ? It's not self defence if you're defending another person. >Most of what Jesus taught was good. How you interpret fables is up to you >Any form of nationalism is wrong. You could've been specific and actually made a good point here but instead you said any form of nationalism so once again you're uneducated on this. Nationalism put an end to many monarchies. >Austrian school is pseudo-science. Completely false, the works of the Austrian school has changed the world for the better, you clearly haven't read too much of the work that is considered from the Austrian school. Start with the road to serfdom. >Libertarianism, anarchism, communism and fascism are utopian visions. Communism has been tried multiple times and ends the same way, every time. It's not a utopian vision, it's just a shit idea that never works, it's an authoritarian power grab in backwater shitholes.
Fascism unfortunately worked quite well where it was employed. That is why you need to read more on the Austrian school to learn how to argue against facism.
Anarchism - see Somalia
Libertarianism is obtainable, look at early British Hong Kong, it is probably the worlds largest social experiment. It was entirely a libertarian country and it thrived. It has since changed, even more under china but it is still the closest thing to a libertarian society today.
Evan Murphy
Liberalism cant survive without central bank money which is actually scam which will fail in the future.
