Science is failing

Is anyone else noticing that science, in it's modern form, is completely contradictory and is causing severe confusion to everyone concerned? Maybe it is the vastness of data, or the wrong pre-conditions and assumptions these researchers have while studying a subject. And there is the clear hand of propaganda where they are trying to influence economy, politics with the help of science. The scientists and researchers fail to keep their ego in check and are concerned with being recognised for an idea which they have already concluded before the real, honest research begins. In other words, the results of research are manipulated by being influenced by their own conclusions or external influences. Clearly, science has become similar to a sort of religion of medieval times : Disconnected from reality and harmful to society. And when some decent conclusions do arise, it is on trivial, click-baity matters which any sensitive human being could have figured on his own. Bold conclusions on the pressing matters like climate change, mental illness, overpopulation is never made. I also sincerely feel over reliance on data might be bad for science. The data collected is the source of contradiction where the conditions are always varying and scientists fail to acknowledge this variation. It is arrogance in a way.

The ever recurring phenomena of declining marginal returns in an entropic universe.

You mean, a pattern solidifying and clogging itself ?

Science is fine, it's journalists misinterpreting the results of experiments and making grand claims that arn't actually justified by the research.

Knowledge becomes easier to come by, but harder to master and push the boundaries of
Science also becomes less profitable over time, as diminishing returns kick in

It's probably because modern science is based on a fraud:

youtube.com/watch?v=fkqTK09i-Xg

clogging? You sound like you're full of shit

It might help if everyone had access to all research papers so more people could double check stuff and attempt replication.
It's disturbing how many experiments haven't been replicated.

We're being choked to death by political correctness, everyone is terrified of telling the truth now.

No user. The scientists should be completely responsible to not let such a thing take place. But they are letting it. They are not humble in saying "We don't know anything"

Sort of. The cost of scientific advancement went from negligable in the time of individual geniuses finding profound truths to high tech labs with highly educated stuff trying to improve a tomato breed to be a little more resistent to a particular line of a particular disease. The costs of technology went through the roof, only payed by the extreme high EROEI fossil fuels.

We have peaked scientifically and technologically anyway

Anyone can take any piece of scientific literature and spin it as he will, but the burden of proof lies with him if he does so, and anyone could disprove it with a study that invalidates its claim
Journalists are doing just that, picking up scientific literature and spinning it their way, and as soon as their claim is invalidated by evidence, they just forget about it and never report about it ever again

I completely agree. This all started with Einstein. Theory gets built on-top of preexisting theory until you have a jenga tower just waiting to collapse. It's going to be crazy if someone disproves general relativity.

Science is politicized as of now. This is the fuckup.
Facts does not matter when there is political wish to ignore those facts.

And it is all fucked up mess because of this.

>modern science

They are busy finding out the monumentally important question of how many genders there you bigoted shitlord.

Dark ages of global information era.

An let me remind you - global IQ is dropping.

No we have not.

But global IQ dropping means that there are less people who can understand things tomorrow than there were today.

The problem is "science" has become combined with politics, thus compromising the science. Now, maybe climate change exists, or maybe it doesn't, but when you have scientists fudging the numbers to fit their agenda, and you have other scientists opposing nuclear power on unscientific and political grounds, and you have scientists making claims like "there are 92 different genders", then no one trusts the scientists anymore, for good reason.

Tl;dr: this looks like social science. I'm not suprised its failing.

Or more correctly put - there are more people who are too dumb to understand things tomorrow than there were today.

And this means that those retarded newcomers take our everyday science and life more and more as some "magic" not actual scientific-cultural path we walked for centuries.

>It's going to be crazy if someone disproves general relativity.
That would be something. Never saw a decent explanation on how light travels same speed assumption was made. Maybe some user can explain that.

Studies and reports are now done with a preconceived conclusion, and the experiments/statistics are then done in a way to justify an agenda. If there data presents other findings, the data will be explained away using other means or reports.

Science is no longer objective. It's political, and has been for about half a century.

Poo

No, loo. It's just that the big frontiers have been breached, now instead of killing injuns and charting the land explorers have to find the best walmart.
Or it's all a conspiracy and you should just clean your asshole with your hands and ignore the theory that bacteria cause disease.

...

The problem with modern science is that it's become so useful that people forget what science actually is. It's essentially become a meme that people who arent self-aware use to make themselves feel superior when in reality they're even dumber than the people that don't have any false delusions about how stupid they themselves are .

if you can write all these nice words why can't you shit into toilets instead of the street...

Climate change is extremely questionable when everyone everywhere is told to disregard their local conditions as anecdotal and focus on the numbers provided by them.

>Science is failing

Feminization.

The evolutionary flaw on woman's mind puts social status above rationality.

This, science has become a politicized, philosophically rigid, and marred in group think. Researchers who attempt to go against the prevailing paradigm are often insulted, marginalized, and rejected. They are given little grant money, and are often ruined by slander.

Ido. It is squatty potty though. Feelsgreat.jpg

And this means civilization is kill.

Not to mention when the fuckers keep moving the goalpost farther away.

Daily reminder that it took less than a century after giving women the right to vote, for civilization to crumble.

Is this proven?

It started all going downhill shortly after Obongo was elected.

Was the politicization of science bad during say the Cold War?

was it politcized then?

Better question:
Do you think military science is politicized?

It started going down hill in 1929, October. When the stocks crashed in the US. After the to combat the great depression, socialism was introduced to the states.
Ten years after women were given the right to vote.

Modern science is called Scientism.

If you don't believe it, the media destroys you (and in a few years) men with guns will come to your house for the carbon goyim tax.

No if they want shit done.
Hitler politicized their military science somewhat.

OK, the global village and some advances masked the downhill somewhat then. Also the inertia kept it going for some time and WW2 was a brutal male thing.

But the concept of EQ in the 1960's was one big nail in the coffin too.

This especially. I wouldn't have such a problem with it if it wasn't clearly fear mongering.

Not science is failing, but the very basic education to handle it properly.
Look at america, these retards actually think they have some of the best education in the world.

Oh yeah, rememebr those asian scientists that lied about their findings, and they were lauded for ages, and then when someone actually repeated the experiment it turned out they'd been fucking lying?

So many submissions are made its impossible to properly verify them all.

We really do need publicly accessible journals.

Science and logic dictate that your people should poo in the loo, but they don't.

>science is wrong

That's the Fark way of looking at it. Look closer though. The system has broken.

And as far as the press goes, look at articles on literally anything you have even the slightest expertise in, they are always wrong. Consistently wrong. I no longer think it's incompetence, it's intentional.

>And when some decent conclusions do arise, it is on trivial, click-baity matters
I assume you do not read any scientific publications (because those you can only understand if you work in the field yourself), but only hear about scientific results in the media. Obviously you will only hear the click-baity matters, because you don't click on the non-click-baity matters.
> I also sincerely feel over reliance on data might be bad for science. The data collected is the source of contradiction where the conditions are always varying and scientists fail to acknowledge this variation.
Do you realize that there is an entire scientific field (statistics) that deals with exactly that problem? What the fuck should science rely on if not data?

>Look at america, these retards actually think they have some of the best education in the world

MIT
STANFORD
BERKELEY
CALTECH

Yes what were we thinking us dumb Americans???

Politicization of science is a large factor. Research is too often driven to support a predetermined outcome.

...

It's because the main financiers of science are big government and multinational corporations, neither of which care about objective truth.

Prepare for a dark age of technofeudalism

As is utility.

Shit isn't free

Have you noticed how pop-science TV is going to shit?

You need 477275 years of licking the ass of society, then you get a fine title, of course you gotta virtue signal like everyone else.

The dark age of technofeudalism is here, user.

Modern science is fan fiction

>Modern science is fan fiction

You know how I know you're retarded?

You know how I know you're retarded?

Nice burn.

Well you certainty can't rely on science so maybe your fee fees?

It's funny how you think you've got me entirely figured out from 5 words. Why do you seem so arrogant?

Easy. You're retarded.

Classic Scientism
>Disagree with a follower of the church of scientism
>Instantly accused of being a retarded ape

Perhaps elaborate on your post instead of being asshurt, my good man.

science is fine. science funding is fucked. science journalism is fucked.

university labs used to be where the peer review and study replications took place, but ever since universities became real estate conglomerates and accepted corporate sponsorship of laboratories shit has gone downhill.

There's just a lot of funny business from the cavendish experiment to general relativity. They've got us in a box

telegraph.co.uk/news/science/11261872/James-Watson-selling-Nobel-prize-because-no-one-wants-to-admit-I-exist.html

We stopped caring about reality a long time ago.

It's not science that is the problem, it's the Jews controlling who gets the research grants. Most kinds of Anthropology are virtually dead in the USA because of this.

>Never saw a decent explanation on how light travels same speed assumption was made.
It wasn't an assumption, it was measured. This measured fact led to the theories of special and general relativity, not the other way around.

>Indian intellectuals

Digital physics=virtual reality.

i really do hope science denial destroys the world.
I hope burgers abandon vaccines and revive polio, i hope renewables take over and industries collapse because of it, i hope carbon emissions acidify the oceans to the point of killing 50% of the base of the marine food chain.

Nice article, thank you for sharing.

>science is failing

it's just focused inside, on trading for the most of it

it's a short-term trend, it'll be ok after major disaster, nuclear war or something else that'll lower merchant numbers

i'm smarter than einstein. no one listens to me.
i left research as it was corrupted by money

Science turned into religion when Kissenger invented global warming. How are you people this new?

Modern science often resembles "politically correct" Soviet science, particularly when they threaten critics with prison. As if defunding, ridiculing and discrediting weren't enough.

Must've been a funny guy

Go fuck a goat Muhammad

Pic related should be used whenever someone says Europe, Japan, etc... "need more people."

But science was always expensive, it a part of life science is trickles down to the common man,but the benefits are extracted by the rich, way before the common man gets it.

For centuries the whole world laughed at the "american studies" big businesses wanted to push in order to expand their markets. Now that lunacy actually got a grip on a world stage and you still wanna defend it?

Sure, you got very nice universities but the majority is lured into corporate fake institutions bringing forth indoctrinated and twisted abominations you can barely call human anymore.

Funny thing to say coming from a country looking to save itself by interbreeding with "immigrants" who's IQ's average from 65 to 72.
> At least we're tolerant!

...

It's taught in every single school in The U.S.A. it's also required form environmental science in college.

It's suppose to be common knowledge.

>Doesn't get science
>Poo

Dropped

no surprise. people are busy sawing on the tree of science
>pushing women and minorities
>undermining meritocracy
>strangling with political correctness
>I love science xDDDD crowd
and not lets forget that only a healthy society can achieve great things. we are not great anymore.

>science is failing

Wrong. It's not failing. People are just actively trying to kill it, the same way they're trying to kill just about everything else about western culture.
