jews.

Because boomers were financially irresponsible and can't retire, so they stay in the workforce and take up all the good jobs. They should be considerate and just fucking die already.

free gibes, jews, and boomer entitlements fucking them. Gen Z won't put up with this anymore.

Free gibes, Jews, and boomer entitlements fucking over their paychecks. Gen Z won't stand for this any longer, unlike millennials.

monopoly is strangling demand as usual

working is gay and stupid
I much prefer to meme

IN my world of the internet I am free, I am smart, I am beautiful -- all of my imagination can become reality

I'm an internet-kid
laptops, desktops, tablets, phones -- I can use em all
technological
intelligent
complex
I am the future
I am the solution
I am a millennial

just because I'm shy and don't always talk does not mean that I lack depth -- the mysteries of my wonder is great

boomers just dont get it

Because nobody wants to hire a demifluid Gender Studies major who blames boomers for everything

discord.gg/py52G

Lazy

Because they're all gender study majors who are now "activists" who shill for antifa

Soros doesn't have enough money to pay them all

Well in DK it's because every company wants 6 gorillion years of experience when hiring.

That makes me feel bad.

>family supports child for years through degree, emotionally and financially
>hard work finally pays off and they graduate
>go out to dinner with family
>snarky waiter who clearly hates their own life deliberately shits on your parade
>snarky waiter brags about it on the internet afterwards

What a cunt. Let her have her graduation dinner with her parents.

>english degree
potential
>master's in english literature
dead end

Guy sounds like a cunt. Girl can do fine. My sister was an English major and is about to land a $75k+/yr job after finishing graduate school

>hi I'm 18 gib attn pls
Just go whore yourself on Sup Forums

they're not really underemployed. that would imply they have skills worth more than their current employment. They don't.

English and sociology degrees are not useful. They don't contribute to being underemployed any more than someone who spent 4 years playing video games is underemployed.

No.

This combined with automation and technology making a lot of jobs obsolete. If millennials do get into jobs then they're frequently stuck at the bottom.

You've got me all wrong, you fucking nigger

take it back
apologize to me and withdraw your criticism

I am not 18
I am 26

you stupid fucker
take it back

take it back for everyone to see
tell them that I am 26 and not 18

I fucking hate your guts you stupid ass bitch fucker

dumb parents not forcing their kids to get good degrees

Spotted the Gender Studies Majors.

Simple mass immigration has made labor cheap to hire for business so that means there are fewer jobs and businesses can pay employees very little and always have another to take the job once they leave.

In my personal experience, most of my friends are almost fully supported by their parents.

I have friends ranging from 21-28 years old either currently in school for a degree being supported by their parents or they have already graduated but work at low paying jobs (moving companies, coffee shops, grocery stores) while their parents still pay for their car, phone, rent, etc.

I have a two or three friends who got degree's and are now working in their fields making $40,000~/Year or maybe a little less/little more not sure their exact salaries.

Myself and some others are college drop outs who are dependant on our parents for health insurance, car insurance, things like that, but we work full time at jobs paying around $12.00/hour to pay rent, car, food, phone, utilities, fun on the weekends, etc.

I live in a small town (population: 100,000) so rent is cheaper here and there are lots of "college type" jobs that pay decently.

So.. basically? because parents support their children longer than they used to (in my experience). They have the resources to basically fully support the living of their child for up to a decade after they move out of the home at 18.

I also have friends who are 24/25 and live with their folks.

Idk just seems like millennials have a lot of financial support and the generation before them where more on their own, so the millennials instead of immediately working out of highschool are getting degrees, graduate degrees (lots of my friends are getting these right now, masters). taking full advantage of their parents willingness to support them and getting as much education as they can.

that's just in my town though, I'm sure it's different elsewhere. this is a very wealthy town and the college here is very well known/prestigious

Automation is going to eat away at available jobs, until the only jobs left are legislators.

This. What a bellend.

perfect timing

>Soros is not rich enough to fuck the world
That's where you're wrong kiddo

Soros will use his sharingan zipangu bokken tengatsu +5 shekel infused kike magic and you'll be jobless before you ever got your first job

nothin' personnel kid

Autism is reaching critical capacity

work is for slaves

because capital is almost done with you

That guy is probably lying about what happened anyway... why the fuck would those parents share what their daughter got a degree in?

I only make $12.75/hr and have made a pretty great life. Drive a nice car. Live in a nice house.

Just figure it out lazy niggers.

>Being this autistic
jesus christ, have a (you) in my desperate hope that this is bait

Same over here.

A lot of people in their 20s need that support because wages are so depressed they couldn't afford to live on their own. Sup Forums loves to go on and on about how STEM and trades are silver bullets for the problem of having a shitty job but even those fields are just lagging behind the rest relatively speaking when it comes to wages being depressed.

Because Capitalism has failed like every other system tried. You now have competition overseas which drives business away. You don't have massive new industries popping up everywhere like you did many decades ago which sustains a strong economy. Automation and a constant appeal to search for ever increasing forms of efficiency (trimming as much fat as possible) keeps killing jobs in unprecedented numbers. And don't forget that good paying jobs require more and more education which wasn't quite the case in the far past. This means less and less decent work for while the population grows. For anybody saying that overpopulation is a meme, go fuck yourself. Enjoy your collapse.

Trolling is like a cycle. This post is either 80 IQ or 120 IQ.

It's nice that you are happy being poor but it doesn't change reality, you have significantly less capital than generations before you.

100% this. I got a BA in English and used it to go into digital marketing. I'm in management and am making close to 6 figures with my bonuses at 28. Writing good copy was definitely a benefit, but the biggest secret weapon is being a good written communicator, since so many Millennials don't know how to fucking write.

Getting a MA in English means that you were afraid of the real world and wanted to stay in school and get even more into debt while feeling superior to everyone cause you're sparknoting books for class.

t. Butthuwties leaf
This is what your trudeau vote got you

All of the blue-collar/low-skill jobs that haven't already been outsourced or automated are done by illegals who will work for nothing.

All the white-collar/high-skill jobs that haven't already been filled by work VISAs or automated are still held by the Boomers who won't retire.

The boomers grew up in a golden age and didn't bother planning for the future. They have sold out the future of their children, and our nation in order to save a few bucks at Walmart.

They could've stopped what was happening, but now...it's too late. Prepare for a long slide into eventual balkanization and civil war.

>Need experience to get shitty job
>Can't get experience without shitty job

only hope is volunteering but no one wants to do that

STEM or bust
a good amount of millennials are not STEM

I dropped out of school at 16 , left home at 17. I now make $30 an hour $1500 a week fixing factory equipment, I have no formal education, no help from friends or family just experience and good social skills . Im 21

Shame, I thought the US was the free land of opportunity.

Because people studying English literature were always underemployed.

>Chips and salsa
Do you work at Chili's?

Uhh. They were probably proud of their kid or something.

You got lucky.

because she took a fucking english literature masters and works at a restaurant instead of writing books

it is, some people aren't just as good at it.

Before it was "I need to raise some money"
now today it's "I wanna this, I wanna that"
And Jews

>have English degree
>be more than mediocre writer
>make $1,200-1,500/mo working 25ish hours a week

I'm going to be honest, most of the English majors that I was in school with had these wide-eyed, idealistic views of themselves being YA authors in the future. Coincidentally, they were all terrible writers.

*$1,200-1,500/wk

I am drunk.

how much is 30 kiwibucks an hour anyways
I make 30/hour at 21 as a nurse out of the army
never really took the time to appreciate how i have it compared to my peers

I've handed out a hundred resumes to firms all across the country and have 3 callbacks

Have a commerce degree and a master's in Geographic Information Systems, so no liberal basket-weaving paprs there

Colld called, went in person, shook some hands but wither heard nothing back or "this is a bad time for hiring this year"

How the fuck am I supposed to actually start progressing on in life? I'm still at home, so I can slowly save enough on a house but I'm turning 28 this fall.

FUCK

Illegals scum

I was a factory bitch for 3 years making fuckall, but had nowhere else to go, managed to talk my way into the job I have now, it wasnt luck but persistence.

I think some of you all need to try harder, like I see other millennials start at bottom and give up 2 months later, yeah shit is tough work hard and it will pay off. But because you spend a fuckton on a degree doesnt make you more employable.

work on your social skills and dont be cucks. Its all a social game , I think people forget that.

I got a job where they didn't they even interview me in person, much less ask about experience. The trick is to apply for jobs at non-meme businesses.

Wtf is NKY??

Eh, might be better if the reality check comes sooner rather than later.

Should have studied computer science or accounting rather than 'Geographic Information Systems'. I don't even fucking know what that means, but it sounds super-esoteric without broad demand.

USD is like 80c to the dollar so about $24ish?

Yeh nurses deserve a good pay to be fair though. they get treated shit over here.

Kek

> He thinks I didn't follow my own advice

I fell for the stem meme and make more than you so try again. If you know how to get the most out of college, it will pay off in the end.

Eh, the situation says more about the waiter than the worth of his degree, but i see your point

What a cunt if this is true (which is probably isn't) why does he have to try to shit on people

Less you will lose after you get married then divorced later. Cheer Up!

>tfw Oil was $120 a barrel and had a Full Time employment
>then it dropped to $30 and is now at barely $50
>still jobless

THink big databases and tie each dataset into map features. Mainly governments use it but I've been told by dozen of people; former profs, directors of non profits etc that the tech is transferrable and in demand

Is was used TONS in Alberta, until the oil went tits up a couple years ago. I graduated too late

I agree fully. If i got qualified i could make more easily. Not all of us make good decisions but doesn't mean it isnt possible to better yourself.

Just sick of hearing the old "im a 23yo neckbeard with a literature masters degree but i work at mcdonals because of the baby boomers" meme

you are the human venezuela

My people know that pain

This automation meme needs to die. I use to be a production engineer for a coglomerate and I currently own a manufactoring business and quite frankly no millenials apply for jobs in this field. I've worked for companies starting retards out make 22/hr and they couldn't handle it for over a month. Occasionally some kid will come through soak in everything he can and continue working their way up the ladder.

>it wasnt luck but persistence.
Nigger the fact that the job was even there for you is luck.

Most people grow up in areas with 2,000 jobs like that but 30,000 people looking for jobs like that.

>masters in english
>wonders why he has to play the taco boy

lol

because babbypoopers like Trump destroyed the economy that they alone benefited from

I agree

Also all companies I worked at are too cheap to invest in automation, Too much downtime and the equipment is very expensive. Most places dont require the capacity of automated equipment since the market for most products arent large enough. Its cheaper to hire a worker and put them on a low priced outdated machine.

>managed to talk my way into the job I have now
Here's where you got lucky. At my last job I went well above and beyond what the rest of the employees were doing to the point where I was resolving issues that had been stumping various "experts" on that piece of equipment for months. Not only did I not get shit for my efforts but they didn't even implement my solutions despite all agreeing that they were in fact good solutions that gave the required results. Finding a place that has good management is 100% luck.

maybe you should be making pizza-related maps

My take on this is that standard of living (wages) in rich countries is too high and unsustainable.

There are huge incentives to outsource everything that isn't customer facing and does not require physical presence.

Working in mcdonalds is customer facing, while accounting is not. You can't outsource stacking shelves in a supermarket, but you can outsource the IT work of managing the check out systems.

Most people look online for jobs and dont know how to cold call or doorknock.

The place i worked at wasnt even hiring but took me on because they liked my charisma.

This is the way to survive these days.

>bitch fucker
as apposed to..

the next gen will be even worse
this is the only world they've known

Idk, I make 100k a year managing a wendys and I didn't even graduate HS.

22 year old girl btw.

Okay but whats the redpilled advice for someone extremely wealthy in Toronto.

I was with a (thicc) girl tonight who just went off on the jews. Like she just went off and said she would stop sucking my cock if I talked to any jews, it was weird

We aren't sure what the next direction is.

Actually reading this I can relate. I dont enjoy my work for exactly this reason as the management really dont care about anything but maximizing profit and doing less work. It takes a while but you get to get on their level, think jew and mention time and cost involved in every solution.

And dont be afraid to keep looking for other places to work. It looks good to a new employer if you apply for work while you are already hired

How the fuck are you dumb enough to not graduate high school?

Also, post tits, you know the rules

I'm a patient person but you know the rules.

Because they treat college like it's high school. None of them know what they want to do until halfway fucking through it and by then they're stuck with some dumb basic shit like a fucking masters in English literature. Nigger what the fuck you gonna do with that, write a book? Teach? Wow you really needed the MASTERS for that and it's really gonna pay off!

>think jew and mention time and cost involved in every solution
Oh I mentioned time and cost. They were at the point where it was just constant ass covering and the time and cost wasn't even on the radar. I wasn't going to fight tooth and nail to do them a favor just to crawl a little higher up on that shitheap.

>And dont be afraid to keep looking for other places to work.
At the time I was but wages were so depressed in the area that I would have had to take a substantial pay cut so I packed up and left. Now I have to start the same song and dance all over but at least I'll be getting paid an amount more in line with my cost of living.

looking at the "I need to sort myself out" threads, just going into STEM won't fix all of your problems.

Go where the jobs are, get a trade. Be a welder, plumber, electrician... anything that does not involve you sitting in an office 8 hours a day. Best descision I ever made.

Because boomers are socially functional, and when they meet an average millennial they think they're fucking retarded, ive been removed from multiple jobs for the sole reason of being a social retard its not about how hard you work its about how well you get along with the boss and coworkers

>tfw 19
>just started my own web combany/trade organization
>when someone goes to my website, or sees my card, they think that it's a corperation
>just a 19 year old selling contracts to Mexicans

Currently down 8k after web development, legal council, and advertisement but i expect before next may i'll have made at least 20k profit.

For a GIS fag you describe it rather poorly. I did a minor in the subject but haven't used it all that much since graduating two years ago. I work in consulting, environmental science broadly. It's a tough market my friend, I hope things turn around for you and in the economy generally.

Jews, boomers and immigrants. Each for multiple reasons.

They should really just remove the S and M from STEM. A bachelors degree in Science/Math is worthless if you're not going to grad school/med school

Millennials males on average weren't raised to be men, they were raised to be boys, many are scared of even going outside

Thanks. I'm tired of having to explain what it is like 9000 times a day.

What would your two sentence elevator pitch of GIS be?

kek, you don't take English literature to become a good writer. The only viable path is academia, but there are way more grads than there are positions.
