There will be no civil war. Practically everywhere where socialism has opposed democracy it's either failed or morphed into capitalism. Only where democracy exists does any form of socialism have any hope of survival.

Communism and Democracy aren't equivalent. Democracy has nothing to do with economy, while Communism mostly revolves around economics.
