You're red pilled enough to fuck off the suds jew, are you Sup Forums?
That shit is a waste of money when plain water does the trick. Hell, shampoo wasn't even around before 1927. What is the point of stripping out all the natural oils in your hair with shampoo and then replacing them with oils from a conditioner?
Let me preface by clarifying I'm far from a neckbeard basement dweller, I'm handsome and successful with girls, just so no one gets the wrong idea and thinks I'm just some dumb greasy loser.
When I had properly long hair, blonde and curly (think of that guy from the movie Anonymous, can't remember his name) and I lived on the beach, I stopped using shampoo because after I got out of the sea it would fuck it up, the seawater and shampoo DID NOT mix well, and my hair came out matted. Eventually I moved away from the beach but still never used shampoo. My hair not only was completely fine, but far better than when I used shampoo, more curly, brighter blonde, had a natural manly musk (not odious).
I've since cut it and gone back to using shampoo, just because I can I guess, not really sure why. But I learned during that episode that shampoo is absolutely not necessary. It freaked people out when they learned I didn't use it, like it was unthinkable, but I would say, Find something wrong with my hair. And they couldn't, they loved it (especially girls). And they would ask me all the time, what do you put in your hair, it's so nice?! I'd say nothing, not even shampoo. They looked like their whole world was a lie.
Cooper Hall
My hair gets extremely greasy if I don't use shampoo
Gavin Bailey
Can confirm. As long as you're scrubbing your scalp with water your hair will be clean
Now, if you just like using it for the scent, there are plenty of shampoos that are sulfate free (won't strip the natural oils from your hair) that you can use as an alternative.
Justin Young
he's right though. unless your hair is caked in dirt or you use some sort of product that sticks to your hair (hairspray, wax, clay, mousse, gel, pomade) there is no point in shampoo. when i shampooed everyday my hair got got dirty and greasy within 8-12 hours, even after days of doing nothing, because my scalp was going into overdrive producing more oils shampoo was stripping out. i stopped shampooing 2 years ago, my hair looks and stays clean for days. shampoo is a waste.
Blake Hernandez
what was the frequency of your showers? and how did you dry your hair?
David Foster
The more shampoo you use, the quicker your hair drains of its natural oils and the quicker your body generates them in response, typically in excess. If you stop for two weeks, your hair should balance out again naturally.
Josiah Jackson
>enjoys smelling like an Eastern European A fucking leaf
Eli Moore
Long daily showers, thorough scrubbing, and just towel dry.
Oliver Cooper
I stopped using Shampoo 1 year ago and it legit cured my receding hairline.
Also don't use very hot water on your hair it strips the natural oils as well, it should be lukewarm at the hottest.
Dylan Murphy
according to there is no scent. i'm sure it's in part due to genetics but uh i';d be a little more open minded
Do you use soap or anything? Literally just water? Wouldn't you need some kind of soap (or shampoo) to actually clean the hair?
Zachary Watson
it really doesn't smell like anything.
Julian Foster
Why don't you smelly faggots just fuck off to the woods and stop gaying up the board with insipid shit like this?
Ryder Hughes
Also, did the receded hair grow back?
Gabriel Moore
zayn did 9/11
Bentley Nelson
I am about 2 weeks on no poo regime. Still gets oily + face gets oily too. How long does it take to have normal oil production?
Luis Foster
use the tip of your fingers start at the scalp, comb from base of you hair to tips around your head under running water, not too hot. this removes the excess while keeping some natural oil in. done.
Justin Jones
I shampoo about every 5-6 weeks. My hair doesn't start to get any greasy until then. Been doing this since I was in high school so I can't really remember what it was like when I used shampoo everyday. >Hair is thicc >Grows fast >Great hair line. I really do think shampoo just harms your hair. But if you really need it just keep using it. Who cares.
Cooper Russell
I use soap for the body not for hair though, and yeah it grew back as well, idk if it will work for everyone but it worked for me.
Jayden Walker
How often do you wash it with water only? I do it every day because it gets really hot outside and I sweat a lot.
Jackson Miller
My gf doesn't watch her hair enough sometime and it gets greasy as fuck
Isaac Turner
I just use plain bar soap.
Joseph Anderson
just wash it once every 1 week or two weeks with a shampoo that doesn t contain Parabens and silicones . washing your hair too much is not good , also first use hot water ( but not very hot ) so you can clean the hair , then rins with cold to close the hair and reduce the shit that gets into your hair
Andrew Sanchez
I think people should use them (or at least conditioner) once a month. Just for the sake of getting rid of any dirt and old oil.
Sebastian Edwards
>He doesn't style his hair with product and therefore requires shampoo I certainly don't come to Sup Forums to get hygiene advise from Croatian neckbeards
Ian Hughes
This guy, btw.
Owen Stewart
how old are you? after about 25 your oil production should plateau. it took a couple of weeks for me to get to normal. every time i shower, so once every day.
Tyler Morales
>can have any imaginary gf >makes up one with greasy hair
the level of beta is wild
Ethan Edwards
That's because most hygiene products contain sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) or sodium lauryl sufate (SLS), which are basically industrial-strength grease removers, and it their inclusion in these products is a result of a brainwashing scheme to equate suds with cleanliness.
If you want to keep your hair from getting greasy all the time, buy a shampoo without sulfate in it.

Gavin Rodriguez
h-how did you know? She's pretty hot though, actually
Oliver Bennett
I'm 22. The strange thing is that in my teens I had normal oil production and I used shampoo every other day but since about 2 years ago my face and scalp just started overproducing oil so I got acne on my scalp and face. Maybe I overused the cleaning products. I want to be able to not wash my hair at least for 2-3 days.
Brandon Peterson
Have not used it for a bit over a year now, my hair is thicker than ever. Don't fall for the shampjew
Joseph Long
Pretty pointless telling that on Sup Forums tho even if you probably have a hot gf with greasy hair, who will actually believe you here?
Ayden Baker
it s true fucking burger
Grayson Stewart
that's myth. cold water doesn't "close" your hair and warm water doesn't "open" it
Dominic Collins
A big part of your bodies cleanliness depends on your surroundings like clean clothes, bed sheets and eventually how tidy everything is in your home.
Caleb Taylor
I know she doesn't use shampoo all the time and doesn't wash her at all enough sometimes, and it makes her look greasy as fuck. So I think shampoo is pretty important to not look greasy
Luke Watson
yeah it's hard to tell, you're approaching that cusp hormones and skin/scalp oil production begin to level off. i'd also go over your diet too. keep at it, it is completely possible keep hair clean for at least 48 hours without having to wash it when your scalp normalizes itself.
Noah Davis

You just need this once a week

She might not have consumed the needed amount of aqua. That godly juice determines the health of your skin and hair.

it is because shampoo use causes the body to produce more sebum than normal and this remains the case for several weeks after cessation of use. the shampoo itself, ironically, is what is causing her to be greasy.
John Brown
>Tried stopping using shampoo >Short hair so nobody can tell when it's greasy >1 week later I have dandruff >Read on the internet "Dude your hair just produces too much oil because it's used to the oil being washed away by shampoo" >Wait a month >Hair is just as greasy as it was before >Started using shampoo again because my hair is now long enough that people can tell.
Daniel Morgan
Shampoo is basically a scam which forces you to buy it constantly so you can stay clean?
Anthony Reed
It'll be greasy for the first week or so but just keep washing it with water and it'll revert to its natural state.
Jeremiah Collins
yes exactly. it's a solution to a problem created by itself, and many people get trapped in the vicious cycle.
Thomas Cruz
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Landon Jones
>Found the stinky shit skin.
Samuel Taylor
Eww. No, you should definitely use soap. Head to toe. Buy it from a small business. Much better.
Carter King
>I can do 1000 now Damnit I was hoping this would turn into a good pasta. Is it a pasta anyways though? pls tell me user

It depends on how much you sweat. I do physical labor for work if I don't wash my hair every three days it gets gross.

I've been using baking soda as shampoo for years now. I use it twice a week at most and I will never go back to shampoo again. One box last months and my hair has never been healthier.

>shampoo wasn't even around before 1927 >snow nigger has shit for brains and no one was surprised. 'shampoo' was originally a specific haircare product invented by the poo in loos. because it was such a quality product, other nations adapted the name 'shampoo' for all their similar haircare products (somewhat similar to bandaids or other brand recognition products). shampoo existed before 1927 and you're fucking retarded sage
