Discuss the Holocaust as little as possible and put a heavier emphasis on the positive aspects of Nazi Germany and on their side of the war effort. Don't make it obvious you have a bias though so throw a bone to the positive elements of the Allies too and even cover the efforts of Japan and Italy and so on.

Going full "Hitler did nothing wrong" is going to put up their blockers and get you in trouble. I'm sure you know, but it's worth reiterating.
I would focus on Germany in the interwar period. Talk about the Weimar Republic, the debt. Focus on how Versailles was on of the most punitive treaties in European history. The Communist Revolution in Germany, etc.
One thing I would focus on is how the Holocaust wasn't part of the war effort. So many have this idea that we were "good guys" going to Germany to "stop the Holocaust." Explain how the knowledge of the Holocaust came after the war. You could also focus on the internment of Japanese people in the US and Canada. I wouldn't outright say they were the same thing as the "concentration camps", because that's gonna put up blockers and get you in trouble, too, but just mention them during the same class.
Be objective, encourage them to learn more about it. Don't be afraid to go off on "tangents" if they're really into a subject and want to go deeper with it. Those were the classes I always loved and learned the most in.
No teacher ever "red-pilled" me, but enough legitimately believed in intellectual pursuit, and making learning "fun." I would focus on that. Don't so much "drop red-pills" but make them more susceptible and interested in finding red pills online.
The problem with this is no teacher in America is going to get away with assigning kids to read Mein Kampf and even if by some miracle you aren't thrown out of the school system for it 11th graders hate reading.

Just teach kids about different ideologies, assign them some primary sources (read a section of Marx, a section of Mussolini's Manifesto, a Hitler speech maybe) and have them compare it or write about the conditions of Europe at the time that would lead to extremist ideologies becoming popular or something. You're giving them the full picture instead of trying to push something on them.

I plan to watch a couple of them and have my students write a couple paragraphs saying how they felt about them and do they agree or disagree and explain why.

I don't want to force it on them, I want to give them enough info so that they can come up with their idea but won't completely abandon what Mass of people disgaree with.
Quiz them on interesting questions, what were he beneficial effects of nazi policies on their economy( don't phrase it that way though), how many jews died per day in concentration camps, etc. Technically innocuous questions.
Assigning readings like The Gulag Archipelago might also be a good idea. Since it's so fucking long you can just give them sections but I think even a little bit would be enough for them to get an idea about what Marxism/Communism leads to.

i graduated from high school last year, and i did modern history for years 11 and 12. the number one thing i think you should teach your kids is to never think in blacks and whites. do not overly focus on how good the nazis were, or how bad. my teacher would always teach us the objective view of things, and it resulted in me (and a few others) realising that nazi germany was not completely awful, and they did have some fair points with eugenics and racemixing.
