Scott Adams: Reporting for Duty

"Sup Forums is what's running the world right now" sez Scott Adams."There's something so DILBERT about what they do!"

Sounds like SOMEONE wants HIS creation to be the new Pepe!

Shitposting aside,

You faggots do realize how much of popular culture has been taken over by the word "meme" right?

Sup Forums is really the only meme factory in the world; all the funny normie memes are somehow or another just evolutions of Sup Forums shitposting.

Things like:

>tfw
>Pepe
>John cena
>shrek
>The text/reaction image format
>etc etc

Hell, I follow like 10 polandball accounts on Instagram

he loves us, guys! We love him too :D

this

this place isn't the only place for OC, but it's where OC from around the internet gets refined to become something greater. You can get memes anywhere, and to be sure there are shit ones here, but the most delectable memes are found here and only here.

magic happens around here due to the happy little structural accident of having no persistence. Things just dissapear. And yet, there is persistence, but only if people keep it alive, by retelling the story over and over again.

>gather 'round kids. storytime!

Few days ago on is Periscope I ask him if he's browsing Sup Forums and he replied : No.

I'm pretty sure he does but wants to stay under the radar of the normies. What he said at that periscope (8:42) is information given to normies via MSM.

>."There's something so DILBERT about what they do!"

No, there isn't. He doesn't even read his own comic? That doesn't sound like something Dilbert at all.

we wuz world runners n sheeit nigga

Scott Adams relies on unfalsifiable premises to sell his ideas. He begins with truisms, namely that persuasion is more useful than reason. That itself is true marketing and propaganda. Where he goes too far is that he believes his own sales pitch.

Take 3 dimensional chess. Adam's purports that Trump uses superior knowledge of persuasion to outmaneuver his opponents trapped in an old paradigm. The more plausible explanation was that Nationalism sold well amongst rust-belt Whites.

The problem with this idea is that for Trump failure becomes an epistemological impossibility. When Trump succeeds in his stated goals he is a nimble navigator. When Trump fails in his stated goals he is accomplishing his unstated goals. A no lose situation with no home in reality.

This narrative appealed to us during the campaign because Trump purported to be a nationalist. We supported his campaign so we were willing to delude ourselves into the company of hucksters like Scott Adams and Bill Mitchell. This has now collapsed in the face of evidence as all lies inevitably do.

Polandball is Krautchan tho

Go to bed Scott Adams. We arent your personal army.

...

yeah everything is a calculated and complicated strategy, when the real explanation is that sometimes Trump just had balls and people liked that.

No no... You just haven't realized that Trump has added five new levels to the chess board. How can you be so naive??

>mfw i help run the world from here when most of my time is spent perusing the joint for porn and shit

Krautchan was always Sup Forums no matter how much they whined about it.

this, I just come here for the blacked porn

>if your country doesn't have universal health care, your country isn't great
>by the way there's nothing to disagree with
He's trying to persuade you

I doubt Adams believes his own sales pitch. He talks about Trump setting up no lose scenarios all the time and it's no coincidence he constantly finds himself in no lose scenarios where his "expertise" is demonstrated on a massive scale. The irony of all this is that in manipulating the situation to always come out on top he demonstrates the skills he claims to have so he's not lying about what he knows, just misleading people on where it's in play.

I'm surprised to see how abused the word "normie" has become in such a short period of time. I listened to several YouTube videos where Matt Furie was called a normie, as if he didn't get wahat was being done with his own character. You'll notice he started to cringe only as Pepe hit the mainstream as political football and a lapel pin worn by the likes of Richard Spencer.

you're fucking retarded, and don't even know what a goddamn meme is. Sup Forums didn't invent memes. memes existed before the Internet.

Sup Forums was, at one point in time, one of the most prominent sources of INTERNET memes, but this really isn't even true anymore. this doesn't mean they lack memetic strength, of course; it just means that they are no longer the progenitor of memes very often, Internet or otherwise.

>Chaos
Praise kek

i like his coffee vids, very comfy and informative. ymmv

I predict that he considers firing Comey...

A MASTERSTROKE!!!!

>Sup Forums rules the world with weaponized autism

Sup Forums has finally become someone

scott adams is a faggot nerd who forgot he was a loser because he made a bunch of cash from his stupid cartoon.
this faggot needs a wedgie, bad

We're actual a large source of culture, albeit nihilistic culture in search for meaning. We destroy through humor. We destroy all that we despise. And - whether you believe it or not - there are a lot of smart people on here.

Where do most memes come from then? The good ones I mean

>this faggot needs a wedgie, bad
kek

this is the exact thing that I have been autistically studying for the past three years, at the expense of friendships, relationships, and my career. I'm going to go have a drink and if this thread is still around I'll try to form an answer.

basically though: anymore, most memes nowadays are 100% manufactured, for corporate/commercial/political reasons.

welp, I finally realized you guys were right. trump and adams dont know anything, better go get a bull now

Hi Scott! Great idea!

Not that I would ever admit to being Scott Adams (a person with whom I am unfamiliar), but why don't you whip me up a meme while I eat more popcorn than any man in history?

*gushes* I love your little app thingie. very useful!
