We need to colonize Venus to save white Christian people

It is basically Earth's twin if we remove most of the atmosphere and install flexible sunshades and import water from the asteroid belt.

thinking that venus exists in the year 2017... LOL

>he doesn't know about Venus Sickness

You are fairly ignorant.
Pretty simple really.
Have a blessed day.
>pic unrelated

Yes, please do, christianity is the reason we are in this fucking mess in the first place.

>venus and not kepler 69c or many of the actual earth-like planets

Nice quality bait OP!

Lets move to literal hell!

Christians are already saved.

Luke 12:7
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Luke 21:18
But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

That planet looks hot as shit

AT LEAST THERE ARE NO NIGGERS AND SHITSKINS!

Venus is deep inside the Sun's "too hot for liquid water" zone, and only going to get deeper as the sun keeps getting hotter.

We need to make for Mars, but there will be a 1.5 billion year gap between "the Earth is too hot to sustain life" and "Mars is warm enough to have liquid water on its surface."

Venus also presents several significant challenges to human colonization. Surface conditions on Venus are difficult to deal with: the temperature at the equator averages around 450 °C (723 K; 842 °F), higher than the melting point of lead, which is 327°C. The atmospheric pressure on the surface is also at least ninety times greater than on Earth, which is equivalent to the pressure experienced under a kilometer of water. These conditions have caused missions to the surface to be extremely brief: the Soviet Venera 5 and Venera 6 probes were crushed by high pressure while still 18 km above the surface. Following landers such as Venera 7 and Venera 8 succeeded in transmitting data after reaching the surface, but these missions were brief as well, surviving no more than a single hour on the surface.

pretty weird seeing an actual picture on mars

Better? still no niggers or Muslims.

This is worse.

Mhm...Now that I think about...maby OP is on to something....Maby venus aint so bad after all!

Venus might be able to sustain a silicon-sulfur analogue of DNA. All that's needed for life is to be self-replicating.

christcucks hate science so good luck with that

Mars
>no magnetic field
>low gravity
>thin atmosphere

Venus
>weak magnetic field
>thick atmosphere
>very slow planet rotation

Either one would require terraforming on a scale we're not currently capable of.

Don't think we can meme this into reality.

Venus is flat

>hate Science
Technological advancement is not the same thing as perceived history or rampant atheism.

Science isn't one all-encompassing aspect. It's not a religion. Stop worshiping it as if it were.

We should just nuke the Ice Caps on mars like musk said.

Then bio engineer cells that terr-form the planet and create vegetation, thus producing a breathable atmosphere.

this space travel horseshit is all nonsense.
mankind will never leave the earth, so we better make what we have got now better.

Science doesnt worship anything, stop projecting your christcuck behavior.

How about moving all ar*bs and niggers to Venus instead? The kangz should be able to figure out how to terraform that planet.

Fuck colonization. All space programs should focus on building a dyson swarm around the Sun for unlimited energy. Then we could do whatever the fuck we want.

that's a cute fairy tale

We are perfectly capable of starting terraforming on Venus. We just need to divert our energy on this task instead of petty little conflicts and fucking Kim Kardashian.

>nuke ice caps
>wait 20000 years till all radiated water returns normal

Seems good to me.

That still wouldn't solve the low gravity or not having a magnetic field to stop solar wind from blowing away the atmosphere we build.

You watched too many Expanse episodes m8

Muslim/Black genocide on Earth is easier with alot of chemical weapons.

You don't need to terraform or even land on the surface of Venus. The atmosphere is so thick you can easily have "floating" cities. At a certain depth in to the atmosphere, Venus has the same pressures at Earth sea level and floating stations would be very comfortable at that pressure. Resources could be mined directly from the thick atmosphere.

Already working on Mars.

oh no what will we ever do without something as useful & as big as you

>Atmospheric pressure 800 times that of earth
>Temperatures approaching 600-1000C
>Sulfuric Acid Rain
>Constant volcanism and earthquakes
>Atmosphere literally almost entirely carbon dioxide

Yes because being asphyxiated, crushed, baked, and melted sounds like paradise

better idea: just leave venus and not transform ist. then bring the nigguz and arabs there

>Venus' surface is literally hell
>Lets send the Christians there

it will be ruined as women come, they'll force venusian officals to let martian niggers in and pretty soon the planet will be de-terraformed

now i really want to see that, throw a nigger in for shits and giggles and please don't disable the comments thanks

>We need to colonize Venus
>remove most of the atmosphere
>import water from the asteroid belt.
Sage

>what is terraforming

fucking leafs man

If we can fix venus then surely we can fix earth right? You fucking retard. Maybe if Germany did any meaningful space shit but no, just sit down and shut the fuck up hans.

You're the fellow who said gonorrhea was no worse than a cold. I bet that wasn't like any cold you've ever had before!

How do you Terraform a planet as unstable as Venus? Its runaway greenhouse effect, atmospheric composition, and pressure were largely dictated by its volcanism. Anything you'd try to do to its atmosphere would immediately be undone with the next batch of eruptions which are pretty much constant on geological scale. You'd have to stabilize the planet before you could mess with its atmosphere and thats even crazier than Aliens atmospheric processors in the aliens franchise

>venus
>unstable

venus hasnt significantly changed in like 3 billion years

canuck education

Pretty much what this guys said. You can melt the ice caps all you want and try and create some kind of atmosphere. Getting it to stick around in the problem.

Our atmosphere stays where it is for a number of reasons, very few or none of which mars has.

inb4 start the reactor

By putting a 12,000km wide sunshade at Venus and the Sun's L1 point.

thesciencegeek.org/2016/02/16/terraforming-venus/

Venus is a literal hellish shithole filled with volcanos and toxic as fuck. We can't even land a probe there without it melting, good luck with that newfags.

Low energy in this thread lads

>not influencing asteroids to collide with the moon, collecting mass until it is large enough to sustain its own atmosphere
>not designing a colossal em field generator to be built in the moons core
>not plotting to install a fuckoff giant space laser designed to split the earth in half so we can easily mine the fragments for precious ores

At least do it right

>f we can fix venus then surely we can fix earth right
What are non-whites?

It also depends on the speed at which you can create atmosphere. If it takes a millennium for the solar wind to strip away the atmosphere due to a lack of magnetic field, as long as you can create replacement atmosphere at the same rate, you should be ok. No idea though how solar storms affect this. Losing a century's worth of atmosphere in the span of a week would be difficult to recover from.

Can we just air AD in nigger countries pretending we managed to terror Venus as a Garden of Eden, then list them for the next spaceship to "their new home"?

*turn*

Basically make the moon into a death star

Dude, Venus would be super fuckin hard. Luna or Mars would be waaaaaay easier.

Mars does not work for long term habability - a gravity of 0.38 of Earth is shit. The Moon is completely out of the question.

The Death Star wasn't a planet cracker it just blew them up

Why would it be a star anyway? Lucas is such a flabby neck fucking retard

>if we remove most of the atmosphere
it would take far too much energy, right destination but wrong justification.

>upper atmosphere of Venus is the most Earth-like place in the Solar System which isn't Earth

edition.cnn.com/2014/12/23/tech/innovation/tomorrow-transformed-venus-blimp-city/

truth

Just stick a spike in Venus and pull it closer to the goldilocks zone

You make a good point in theory but there would have to be a way to replace the atmosphere at the rate that it is being lost. If you believe the theory that gravity plays a large roll in holding the type of atmosphere needed to survive Mars is far short to hold the same type of atmosphere.

Mars would only be able to hold on to heavier elements while light elements like nitrogen would escape easier than they do on earth.

I don't claim to be an expert what so ever, but if I understand correctly the only reason Titan as small as it is can hold nitrogen in its atmosphere is due to the fact that it is further away from the sun and something about the heavy hydrocarbons being part of the process as well.

If Mars were able to sustain an atmosephere the elements would be the heaviest we have on earth. Oxygen is great and all, but too much is toxic. Argon, Neon, and other molecules wouldn't be great either.

this is, without a doubt, the dumbest thread I've seen today

what could we pull it with tho?

Here's what we do fuckers.

Strip the atmosphere from Venus in massive ships.
Bring it to Mars.
TFW 2 habitable planets.
No niggers allowed.

It doesn't work like that burger

Mars needs an electromagnetic field and more mass

>when whites are so screwed they have to abandon the planet

Watch Capricorn 1

>le big fucking rocket

>We need to colonize Venus to save white Christian people
>It is basically Earth's twin if we remove most of the atmosphere and install flexible sunshades and import water from the asteroid belt.
jesus in space

Solar sails or stick the other end in earth and as we spin and create days we will slowly pull it closer by winding in the cable

Even if you could nuke the shit out of it closer to the goldilocks zone which wouldn't be possible you'd have to find a way to stop the outgassing within the planet. Maybe with more nukes?

Then you'd have all kinds of different problems like a planet being so close to earth it would disrupt both orbits to the point of being unstable.

Eventually the refugee planet would rape our atmosphere and steal our moon.

this webm is one of the dumbest fucking things I have ever seen

stay here and fight you pussy

Damn nigger, have you not read the Electric Universe theory? We get close to venus the ships probably gonna get hit by a sheet of lightning kilometers wide. Ask yourself, why is Venus the one planet with a tail like a comet?

extremetech.com/extreme/245369-nasa-proposes-building-artificial-magnetic-field-restore-mars-atmosphere

is this the power of the white man?

Holy shit that's fucking metal

Cloud cities, people.
Google "HAVOC"

Don't stick it near earth

Stick it behind the sun the same distance as earth.

that way we'd only have to fly for half a year and it would come and get us

Mega lightning is extremely metal. What we see underneath a cloud, between the clouds and the ground, is nothing compared to the shit that happens ABOVE clouds, between the clouds and the ionosphere.

Not sure if it will work, but I'll go with it!

...

The bonus is you'd only have to fly from venus the other way and then the Earth would get you thanks to how years work

Besides a temperature of 800C, Venus atmosphere is 80x denser than our own; any man-made object you send to its surface will be destroyed in a matter of minutes, no matter how strong it is. It is physically impossible to terraform Venus.

So basically energy Cthulhu creatures would vaporise anything that got too close

Poke a vacuum into the top and don't attach a bag on the other end

In Polynesia there are tribes that not only know of mars and it's red surface, but of the solar system as a whole. In their traditions they state that they were slaves to the star people in the age long past. They say that mars was stained red by the blood of the gods, when they fought over the fate of humanity. The survivors of this conflict abandoned mars and came down to earth to restart civilization. I thought it was bullshit, until I googled circadian rhythms and the average length of a mars day

Plus there's this fucking thing

So now we refugees?

this. everyone is talking about colonizing mars but to me venus is a better option. mars you'd need to regenerate atmosphere somehow and even then it would be constantly stripped again because mars is a dead planet with no internal heat... no magnetic belts protecting the atmosphere like on earth

venus? just bleed off some of the atmosphere into space, set im a large solar shade in orbit, and boom

Now you're talking about time travel man!

Let's save this topic for a different threat.

(((venus)))

...

t. a muslim/jew

In addition the atomsphere is almost entirely carbon dioxide (96%). If you had power for UV lights
Such as putting solar panels in orbit and drawing power, or maybe some other method.
It would only take a couple generations to make a suitable atmosphere.

mars is quite comfy

>your bishops and priests are literally atheists

Sweden, how delusional are you?

checked

the issue with mars, even ignoring everything else is the gravity is 40% that of earth where venus is 91%. Long exposure to 0-gravity causes your bones to deteriorate. Astrouants on the ISS have to come down to earth every 6 months, you would never be able to have a lasting colony on mars.
