Thank you for posting this. I have found an additional bit of contempt and disdain I didn't know I had for fat people.
These people shouldn't be helped, they should be left to starve. Maybe buying a little less food he could afford that healthcare he claims to be so deserving of.

Nationalized healthcare is a good thing, a healthier nation is a stronger nation. You can start debating that it needs to be ethno, civic, whatever... but the point is, in a functioning nation healthcare should be a priority.
As such, it should be funded by taxation; because if you are taxed, you are submitting to rule, and rule that may cost you health and well-being (such as being policed improperly, medication monopolies etc; there are no true free markets).
Now with that in mind, I would rather go to prison for murdering these people, than have a mediocre and, as is the case in he uk, underfunded national health because of specialist care, equipment, and training going toward people who put themselves in those situations; obesty, cancer, type 2 diabetes, etc.
As such, I propose a means tested taxation, of which you can opt out of and as such only have access to emergency care. The more risk factors you have in your life the more you pay; you're already obese, your diet is shit, and you smoke? Well you can pay for that service.
