Why do we switch at 300 when I see most "close calls" go to 360+? And I've seen many unrelated /ptg threads go to 400-500 before crashing. And the ones that go to 1000+, I'm assuming those are special threads due to mods?

I've done plenty of lurking. As I've already acknowledged, I know that we migrate after 300. I just needed that simple explanation that other user just gave of "bump limit is 300." (Thanks friendly, non-asshole user). That doesn't explain the inconsistencies in auto-archives - why some last to 450 and some crash out closer to 300. I'm guessing it's the size of the pics?
