My main point however is don't go in attempting to "redpill" him, kids are both clever and stupid at the same time so there are many ways that could backfire, especially when he gets older (teenagers aren't exactly known for valuing their parents' opinions). Just tell him the truth in a way he can understand, make parallels and let him come to his own conclusions. If you raise him properly his conclusions should be pretty good even if they don't fit your definition of ideal.
One thing I would suggest however is have a regular bonding time without your wife and/or daughters (just guy time). It could be anything, weekend camping trips, going the to gym/track, hiking, hunting, gun range, a movie night, the park, whatever. During that bonding time just talk to your sons casually about whatever they want, don't force anything, if your sons want to stay quiet let them. Essentially being able to casually talk with you about anything is important, much more so than formalized sit down talks which can be stressful for kids.

There are only two ways to ensure your son doesn't become a degenerate leftist.
1. Send him to a good Catholic school. I think people underestimate the effect of going to a Catholic school. It instills a sense of discipline and respect for authority like no other. It instills a respect for tradition, and makes sure one never sneers at religions. It doesn't have to make you a religious nut, I am certainly not one, but it makes sure you appreciate religion and don't laugh at others who practice it.
Trust me, this small act of growing up to not sneer at others partaking in religion often swings you to the right somewhat.
2. Exercise. Make sure your son exercises regularly. Being fit and strong means your son will be happy. That's the most important thing you can want for your child.

Tell him to be critical about those around him. Keep it gradual and don't make your bias too obvious, appear as if you always at least consider opposing views but that they're not logical (Shouldn't be hard if you're on the right side). He's a kid but kids are switched on. Always provide simple and digestible examples/analogies, for instance, regarding inequality; "if I needed something from the top shelf would I ask the tall or short man"? Basic shit like that will drive home the point. Gauging his response will also let you know what level he's at.
