How do you view the Cornish?

Do you support an independent Cornwall?

I support the idea that traitors should be hung, drawn and quartered

And the most god-tier flag

Usually through a pie warmer window in a bakery

bunch of liars
there's no wall made of corn there

Only when I play CK2 OP

every thread

Looks like a good candidate to be UK's California, where it would be better slipping off into the ocean. Are the Cornwall voters likewise little communists?

Independence? No.
Cornish Supremacy? Yes.

Life in Cornwall is traditional, which most English here like to refer to as backwards or inbred.

they voted Leave in the referendum,
not commie, no

Cornwall is quite rural, with from what I gather mostly conservative MPs.
Lots of fisherman and the like.

Its far from being communist xD

Aren't they all from London, with holiday homes. I suppose the ex Londoners want a tax haven.

this def belongs on bant, but ill bite here all be it i will sage.
I have always been fascinated about the Cornish, dont know why just have. Do you still speak the tradational language?
Wasnt this the last piece of England to offically come into the fold?

Cornish, Scottish and Welsh alliance when?

i live in cornwall and its pretty run down and technologically further behind everywhere else in southern england, the cornish who talk about independance are cringelords and usually the dumbest people here

no
sounds good in theory but the scottish seem very left wing/ socialist

im definitely behind a celtic union

nah pretty based by english standards, we do however like california get all the surfers

>Do you still speak the traditional language?
It's very rare to hear it spoken but most people who live there should know a few words. There are old signs, buildings with worn bits of Cornish writing on them and the odd engraved stone/brick but no-one really pays them much attention.

eh, scotland is only temporarily left.
as soon as center right republican parties pop up after Indy, people will flock to it.

what do you think of a celtic union, Ireland, Cornwall, Wales, Brittany, Scotland, Catalonia, and Basque country? Seems maybe at one time you were closely ethnically related, idk about Basque though. But now with migration and ease of travel its just a whole bunch of mud bloods

We need to keep the Union strong cunt

you were the last part of Briton to be taken over by Anglo-Saxons (in the 9th century)
thus you are different? I don't get this logic, it just shows you were the last part of Briton to be Anglicised

Cornwall's where the British did a lot of their hiring for the Navy because its primary industries was fishing (and tin-mining).

Their accent is the stereotypical pirate ARRRR accent.

Beautiful place. Great fishing. Nice ice cream. Don't think there's any nigs or pakis. I think I'd probably want want independence if I were Cornish, but I'm not so they can fuck off and autistically screech like the SNP. UNITED Kingdom desu.

as a cornishman im all for the eu, i wouldnt want it to be torn apart like the SNP want
i just want home rule and our own government

How does the SNP want us torn apart?
We just want self determination and a right to our own destiny, and the Brits are scared of losing their Identity.

>How does the SNP want us torn apart?
They have literally no plans beyond MUH FREEEDUHM!

Ask them anything related to how they plan on running the country and their answers are either nonexistant or flawed.

Toppest kek being you won't even be free, you'll be crawling into the EU to be another Poland tier leech.

EU? i meant UK lol

>adolescent council dwelling neet scared that we're going to leave
KEK
Have you even read the Independence White Paper you moron? The EU give us more powers than the UK so why would we want to stay?

An outpost of the Dragon Empire, like Wales.

Soon!

Personally I don't see the ethnic link as having much relevance these days. There has been too much mixing with Anglos for the region to be ethnically distinct enough to make a good case for leaving. Culturally they are English but with a unique regional flair, those cultural elements in decline and again, not distinctive enough from English rural culture to convince many people that they'd be better off lumped together with French/Irish/etc.

Maybe I'm biased though because I'm mostly Anglo.

Yet being part of the UK still gives you more power than being an EU vassal

>How do you view the Cornish?
I like 'em.

>Do you support an independent Cornwall?
lol no. I do however support them being recognised as a constituent country of the UK. They're clearly not English.

>in the EU, sovereign state
>in the UK, not a sovereign state
Is it that fucking hard to comprehend? You're English, you know nothing, you're terrified of losing your identify so you're spouting shit.

lowest IQ in England due to lack of Continental geneflow

ISIS has the same colour flag

When I visited Cornwall (lostwithiel) for two weeks it was above and away the most traditional English area I encountered in the five years I stayed in the U.K. People weren't lager swilling pakis riding Mama Merkel's dick.

When you have never lost what made you great but see the rest of your country go to shit it helps you appreciate it
>it appears cornwalls superiority has led to some controversy

Cornwall is very pretty but ultimately useless. Like Emma Watson

aphex twin is cornish

that's all I got

Should he want to lose his identity? Should he not be afraid in the face of the greatest threat Britain has ever known? I don't understand where your soggy ass gets off thinking you're allowed to have an identity and he isn't.

no, but their pasties are great.

oh honey crunchy sweety boo...

If they like corn, they're okay with me.

Yes. Devon should be independent as well. Both should probably stay as part of the UK but be "independent" like Wales and Scotland.
