Fascism has always been a worker oriented ideology and is closely related to socialism. What you discovered is all related to this rabbit hole. Many fascists are in fact socialists but not Marxists. What defines Fascist socialism from Marxian socialism is the fact that Marxists are internationalists, just like the capitalists. The only way to maintain nationalism is through state socialism. Meh, Stalin's "internationalism" was just an excuse for his own imperialism and Russian lebensraum. Not to mention, Stalin coined the term "socialism in one country". He also purged the Jewish elements from the communist party. I can't speak for the people who came after him though.

That was just a temporary thing though. The strict followers of Marx, like Trotsky, followed this idea that once a communist country arose, it was their duty to help all other communist resistance groups around the world, even if it meant they would fall. Sort of like a hydra, you cut off one head, two more grow back. And through this, a long time world war would acure with international communism achieved.
Stalin rejected this idea and realized that by doing that, he would attract unwarranted attention and just start shit for no reason AND Russia wasnt ready for a war like that. So he stopped all that nonsense to focus on building up the USSRs manufacturing, modernizing the country, and revamping the military in order to make it one of the big dogs on the world stage.

With an ideology like Strasserism, how will you achieve the ultimate goal of socialism: the ascent to communism, which is a classless, currency-less, stateless, post-scarcity society?
Are you for the expansion of socialism to other countries, but still for maintaining borders and keeping different races apart?
Because one of the greatest evils that comes with capitalism is imperialism, and I feel that that will continue as long as there are nations in existence, even if said nations are socialist.
So I'm not really on board with socialism that isn't international.
As long as there are big imperialist capitalist powers like the USA in existence, you'll have sanctions put on your country, will probably have to rely almost strictly on the resources in your borders and satellite nations, and always be dealing with imperialist attempts to sabotage your economy (see: Venezuela) and coup attempts.
