Dilbertman explained this pretty well, basically the media is going apeshit over this because Trump has no concrete way to prove what happened- unless he released the tapes to the public, which would be political suicide in itself. Best he can do is keep quiet and this will blow over JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE.

Their party is so utterly in disarray and has so many different groups that it's impossible to find common ground in a candidate or even a direction other than "FUCK PMURT".
