I worked in a canadian embassy in istanbul, so i know a few things:
Most of the elections are rigged. They usually start against his favor, then a city wide blackout happens, and boom, he's leading again.
There is no press in turkey. Its just propaganda for the ruling party and Erdoroach.
There is a numerous secular opposition, but they are too scared/cucked to do anything. After a few protesting children got shot by the police in 2013 protests in turkey, no one raises their voice against him.
Most of his vote comes from eastern, rural parts of the country, while the majority of the opposition comes from the west. With the resent referendum and the accusations of it being rigged, things are getting pretty tense over in the roachland, and a civil war may break out.
Canada withdrew some of their employees from the embassy, including me.
So, the way I see it, he is a tyranny. I would love to see a secular based man lead Turkey towards more western ideologies. The only thing that is keeping them as a 3rd world country is Islam and this guy.
