I'm the great grandson of Italian immigrants and I really want to move Sardinia, the home of my ancestors.
Obviously, doing this is very difficult and would take many years of dealing with immigration bureaucracy.

If you have physical proof + immigration records in your great grandparents you could obtain Italian citizenship easily (unless the birth by blood clause had an expiration date which I wouldn't know).
