My working theory is that it has something to do with almost constant subconscious shame. you know that feeling when you get caught doing something embarrassing? Kind of a bloodflood, and sinking gut feeling. I think they have almost a constant subconscious version of that embarrassment and shame towards themselves, and it effects the facial muscles and can be read in the eyes.
