Aye, I get the fear. I'm not an experienced swimmer but I nearly got dragged out to sea once at a beach when I was a kid and that pretty much exhausted my lifetime supply of aquaphobia.

I guess I've never experienced that. Then again, I grew up water skiing and wakeboarding from time to time in the Mississippi and glacial lakes, and went snorkeling a few times.
