No terrorist attacks in the Netherlands???

Serious question, why haven't the Dutch suffered any attacks from islamist extremists? Every major multi-culti country in europe has had them (France, Germany, UK, Belgium, Sweden, etc), but not the Dutch, if I remember correctly.

And from my experiences there, they are just as multi-culti as us germans, at least when it comes to their big cities. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague. So why is it that they've not had any attacks? Is it because their immigrants are mostly Turks and Maroccans, which are argueably the least terrorism-inclined of the arabs?

People seem to think that terrorism is something that just happens and that if your country is a victim of terrorism it's because the terrorists target you specifically. This isn't true.

The reason Sweden has had so little terrorism isn't simply because Sweden has been targeted less, it's because Swedish intelligence and anti-terrorist organizations have been extremely good at stopping the attacks and at preventative measures. The fact that the Stockholm attack even happened at all was because of an oversight by the municipality who refused to add proper roadblocks for economical/political reasons. Drottninggatan was the #1 weakness in Sweden, and if proper measures had been taken in this case as well the attack probably wouldn't have happened, and even in this case only 3 people were killed.

Similarly, it's not that terrorists specifically hate Belgium more than other countries. It's that Belgium is a barely functioning country, where things like infrastructure, law enforcement and anti-terrorism initiatives work very poorly.

I'm not an expert on Dutch law enforcement but from what I can tell they are very good at preventative measures as well.

There's also of course a correlation between the number of Muslims in a country and the number of terrorist attacks, but this hardly explains the enormous difference between countries with almost the same number of Muslims.

Those numbers seem about accurate to me. Amsterdam, expecially Osdorp and Bos en Lommer are almost 100% arabic and there's other suburbs such as the Bijlmer, Amsterdam Oost that are also predominantly immigrant.
