Reminder that universal suffrage was a mistake >‘Bread and Circuses’ is the cancer of democracy, the fatal disease for which there is no cure. Democracy often works beautifully at first. But once a state extends the franchise to every warm body, be he producer or parasite, that day marks the beginning of the end of the state. For when the plebs discover that they can vote themselves bread and circuses without limit and that the productive members of the body politic cannot stop them, they will do so, until the state bleeds to death, or in its weakened condition the state succumbs to an invader—the barbarians enter Rome.

As a whole we will do better under WTO than the current EU restrictions, this has been shown time and time again. The WTO rules are not forever until we figure out a deal with the EU countries, it's better taking a little pain than being like Norway or Switzerland that are controlled by the EU in many ways. We can do it alone, we don't need to accept their migration rules like Norway is being bullied into doing.

Reminder of the main points of the appalling "Corbynist Manifesto"
>at least one publicly-owned energy supplier in every region of the country, with the government controlling the transmission and distribution grids.
>policy of rail nationalisation when train operators' franchises run out "has been Labour Party policy for a number of years"
>renationalise water companies (many of which are foreign-owned currently)
>renationalise "Royal" Mail (currently the Queen's head is privately owned)
>£10 minimum wage
>Ban so-called "zero hours" contracts
>Spend an extra £8bn on social care over the next Parliament
>Refuse to make "false promises" on immigration - restore British workers' rights to prevent undercutting by companies bringing in migrants on the cheap
>Strengthen trade union rights - including increased unionisation across the workforce and repealing last year's Trade Union Act
>Scrap the public sector pay cap and reintroduce national pay bargaining
>Increase income tax for the highest-earning 5% to raise an extra £6bn for the NHS
>Build at least 100,000 council and housing association houses a year
>Halt weapon sales to Saudi Arabia - human rights abuses, alleged war crimes in Yemen and the source of Wahhabist terrorism
>restates the existing policy to renew Trident but commits a Labour government to a defence review
>Stress that any leader should be "extremely cautious" about using Trident nuclear weapons, which leader Jeremy Corbyn opposes

Halting weapons sales to those foul sand-nigger is probably the best thing that has ever been in a manifesto. They've got my vote.
These are horrible policies, mate. Mail, water and trains were SHIT when they were national, and I can't feel too good about my mates who are on zero hour contracts losing their jobs. I don't know if I like the idea of "borrowing" a sixth of the entire national debt either. 500billion to go on "investments" just sounds like kickbacks. And creating a ministry of labour to give corbyn's fat slug trade union mates power in parliament would be bad enough, if it weren't for him wanting to remove the lords, who are the biggest check on parliamentary power we have.
Imagine being Irish. Having this permanent victim complex engrained into the very fabric of your society and culture. Being nothing more than a rebel off-shoot of a glorious empire of a neighbour. Your entire identity revolves around "fuk da english xddd" and all your politics is about the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. muh abortions muh norniron muh abortions muh norniron
The same politicians for decades dominating your island, Gerry Adams, Martin McGuiness, the same parties arguing over the same thing for decades.
Being Irish is a stain on humanity, just a mongrelised race of poor peasantry, living a life of opposition, instead of forging your own identity and path and leaving the past alone.

I don't think most small British businesses are running enough of a profit to survive the weak pound and WTO rules. The EU isn't going to accept a trade deal unless we settle our debts. For a country that has built up its diplomacy over the centuries to an art form, this zero sum game of holding a gun to our head is embarrassing.
A lot of this for me personally is in hindsight so parts of my arguments are not very helpful now we've voted out but the sooner we recognise we were conned the better.

You know what Labour's problem is? Whether one agrees with their policies or not the party is a fucking mess, filled with people who can't agree on anything, don't have a clear vision in mind and hate everyone who disagrees. On top of that there is their constant refusal to confirm that they would use a nuke if needed.
