I don't think any man should marry an animal, but I have no say over Canadian law. They can go ahead and ruin their own country as long as they stay away from mine.

fpbp

Nice bantz, dog eater.

if I was an alien and I saw what happens there I would probably nuke the planet

Only ever buy Swedish meat since we have far higher standards of ethics, wouldn't even dream of buying from the fucking danes

I don't eat non free range meat for ethical reasons

it's morally wrong what we do to animals

Extensive farming looks good until you realize there isn't enough usable land in the world to make every piece of meat come from that kind of farming while keeping them affordable.

you're one to talk, seeing as your standard of ethics is based on sharia law

this, perhaps humans must reduce their meat consumption ?
humanity can produce proteins from vegetable today

>people care more about animal then humans

I disagree with putting antibiotics in life stock. Outlawing antibiotics use on farms would mean that factory farms would be impossible to have that high of density. Factory farms are just giant antibiotic resistant disease factories, how long until a new plague is created?

shit dude that pic makes me sad
imagine your whole life which doesnt last more than 2-3 years if you're lucky, consists of being detained at all times like that, unable to do anything
humans are evil

I don't care that much about animals in intensive farming

If we didn't have to feed six billion shitskins... it wouldn't be a problem. Also get learnt

Kys

Agreed.

Vegan products that imitate meat products tend to be unbelieveably disgusting tho

>implying animals have human-like consciousness
their brains aren't that developped mate

No fucking shit i would rather eat extensive farming but I'm not going to pay 4 times as much money for my chicken.

Amen to that.

>humanity can produce proteins from vegetable today

Low quality proteins that leave you malnourished and without adequate vitamin and mineral intake. Plant substitutes will never be a solution to anything you vegan cunts need to fuck off.

Eat veggies instead

Intensive and extensive farming are strategies which use depends on conditions such as acreage of available pasture. You won't see the Netherlands or Japan try extensive farming while it's more or less the norm in the US.

>seitan

No thanks pierre. Go suck a nigger cock.

I am opposed to intensive farming. I am also opposed to making meat an upper class exclusivity.

So you would actually rather eat the torture farming meat or are you a vegetarian? It is all about the cost, that's obvious. Nobody looks as those two and things the left is nicer, but a lot of people pick the left anyway because they want cheap shit.

>Caring about the wellbeing of animals that were born to die.

Do you care about the mussies that were brought up to be suicide bombers too?

Extensive Farming seems to be the only responsible alternative.
Also we don't need to reduce our meat consumption drastically. However, our human overpopulation of this planet is something parasitical that needs some cleansing.

You know the phrase you are what you eat?

Fuuuuccckkk

vegetables have feelings too

wait...
is one of those foods called 'satan'?

Morals don't apply to animals.

The fate of all animals is to stumble through existence with no concept of anything even their own mortality until they meet a bitter and painful end.

At least their lives have purpose with us. There are no more successful land animals other than the ones we domesticated. They have the largest populations of all.

This. Imagine a world were white Europeans expand East and used all of Russia and then a world in which all of North America was almost exclusively occupied by 200 million whites. Imagine a world like that? We could preserve so much of nature while also raising animals more humanely and environmentally friendlier.

intensive farming looks more efficient and cheaper so probably that one

I could quickly and humanely kill animals if I had a blade with the sharpness of that edge.

...

You explain why we evolved a trait that doesn't benefit our species.

Morals are for humans only. You only ever feel morals towards animals that share facial features with human infants. You never see anyone feel bad about exterminating insects.

it's not edge mate, it's a moral code that was considered common logic for thousands of years untill the Jews started transforming your ethical compass

Seconded. Peoples, and by extension a nations intrinsic values are easily distinguishable by how they treat animals. Look at the fucking chinks. Only ever buy Swedish produce and meat.

In reality, however, our current crisis stems from a (ridiculous) sense of altruism that comes from having too good standards of living for too long of a time, coupled with a deep, and also ridiculous, yearning to be modern and fashionable.

Jesus Christ this was a good FPBP

>extensive farming
Oh look is this the latest attempt at fad labelling for product differentiation?
>Its not your peasant tier intensive farming goy!
>not your usual fake organic labels
>and we certainly don't scam your shekels when you buy (((fair trade)))
>so give extensive farming products a go goy!

Fuck off. The globalisation of agriculture means it is cheaper to import produce from China than it is to support a local grower. Why do you the the trade liberalisation of agriculture has been dragging its feet?

I fully agree. I'm not paying more than 2€ for meat. I love animals and so on but a man has to eat.

I have friends who only ever buy fair trade shit. What redpills can you offer on the subject? I figure it's horseshit like everything but i've not looked into it.

Poor people don't have the luxury of paying more for their chicken. You limousine liberals never consider how your policies would affect the poor and destitute.

edgy

If you use tons of money to save some tomato level children and elders you need to destroy somewhere else.
The biggest nonsense of our society is helping the weak.
Because we passivly destroy all the beauty in nature doing so. On every level.
Including the domestication of animals.

>not wanting a deer wife

Factory farming is an aberration. An exercise in brutality and disrespect for life. I'm not against meat eating (muh burgers), but meat animals should be treated humanely. If you've ever had organic, free range meat then you understand the enormous difference in quality. It's the most optimal form of meat animal husbandry for the consumer, and the animal.

>inb4 muh profits

All of God's Creation is to be respected. There is a hierarchy, and we are at the top of the food chain, but that is no excuse for nihilism and disgusting acts.

A balance can be struck, and usually the outlying problem is human laziness.

Laziness is a lack of a sufficient 'Why' in someone's life. Not surprising that most of our population has no major 'Why' to live for these days, but do not let that dictate your views.

It's a mad world.

Gas everyone who is okay with factory farming.

As a guy who eats both mass-produced meat and self-grown animals, i can't describe how much that market meat is disgusting after eating a chicken that's walking freely all over the farm. The difference really is amazing. i understand the economics and all but there is a difference and anyone saying it's the same, it's not

1) introduce regulation that mandates details about farming conditions to be included in product labeling.
2) let people decide whether they give a shit or not.

poultry and pigs is terrible, cows okay (in EU)

There is in the United States. This is why we're trying to keep Mexican'ts out.

>All of God's Creation is to be respected
That's not fucking possible and you know it.

Human lives are all that matters. We only care about the other animals because of aesthetics anyway.

fpbp

is it the good Monsanto soy?

I agree with the Burger here. I'm not against meat eating, but meat animals should also have a life - living free and eating in open pastures, not caged with no space in factories, that's total disrespect for life. Money should not be the most important thing in life.

I do extensive farming.

Pigs for meat and show, sheep for meat and wool, horses for breeding and riding practice, goats for milk and petting for kids (also good at grazing land), a few Jerseys for milk since it's so high quality, and chickens for their eggs and meat.

Looking to get some geese or turkeys too.

Best thing is I grow all the food for most of them and only need to buy surplus for winter months and for bedding.

Way better farming that the battery ranges.

you miss the bigger picture: overpopulation is the problem. why do we need billions of niggers?

>Morals don't apply to animals.

Why not? What grants humans moral consideration but not animals, especially those that can feel pain or possess some relative level of intelligence?

>You only ever feel morals towards animals that share facial features with human infants

Just because our nature is a certain way doesn't mean it's moral.

>You never see anyone feel bad about exterminating insects.

Because we have less reason to believe they possess an adequate amount of intelligence or subjective experience (consciousness) especially with regards to suffering.

Its a rort a label for jacking up the price. You're not paying the smuck in latin America for your coffee beans, you're paying for the branding.

>limousine liberal
Fucking please. I'm a student and have an income equivalent of 11k usd a year and I can afford to eat meat every day from Swedish animals with our animal treatment laws and still have plenty left to pay rent living on my own, and drink beer when I want and so on. It's about choices.

Now if someone thinks it's fine to buy super cheap trash meat from animals that have lived in torture conditions for all their lives then go ahead. But don't come to me and say they're forced to buy shitty food products.

I'm always buying (((eco))) expensive hipster shit because I don't need much of it during the week.

try teaching aliens ethics

This
no thanks

we need to remove a huge chunk of world population and make farming aesthetic as one of the ways to reconnect with nature

Different in the USA. No butchers unless you are an actual millionaire and a vast quantity of cheap meat.

You think WE are cruel? We are only "cruel" because we are the only species on the face of the planet capable of conceptualizing "cruelty."

Jeebus feckin' christ, look at wasps. Many species of wasp deposit their eggs into paralyzed, living hosts, who then hatch and eat their immobilized host creatures alive.

So, stop waxing sanctimoniously about "cruelty." At least we consume our prey once it's dead.

I disagree, and no, I don't 'know it'.

It is entirely possible, but you do not want to go grow your own crops and raise your own livestock.

A man has to eat, no argument there, but the line is drawn at a sentient being that is able to sustain themselves and grow. Once you're not in a poverty survival situation, and can begin to save, the argument of "I can't help it/won't help it" doesn't apply anymore.

Survive, Save, Serve, those are the three modes of human activity. 98% of society does not reach beyond Save, and Survive mentality is a large percentage of that.

There is more to the world than You, and almost ironically, you achieve a higher position when you fully understand that and reach outside of yourself rather than within.

>God's creation
We are commanded to have dominion over it. Therefore we are the rulers of the Earth not as tyrants but as stewards.

Does that mean we need to elevate a pig to the legal status of that of a human? No. Does that mean we should not abuse an animal even though we can? Absolutely.

social democrat cucks

this is a lie

kys

Extensive farms in the West of Ireland make 50% of those in Dublin....69% of their income comes from EU payouts

we're above animals, user.

>There is in the United States
The market proves otherwise.

Unnecessarily cruel life leading up to slaughter should not be encouraged but I have no issue with the slaughter.

Factory farms are rather problematic for usage of antibiotics, sanitation, questionable handling and slaughter, etc... I would far prefer to eat a pig raised on some redneck's farm next to his house rather than one raised in a shed next to a like of piss and shit that is injected with shit I don't want to eat.

It all seems to come down to on a small scale its done in ways I approve of but when its done on large scales I don't.

this is bullshit, anyone with a median income can easilty afford high quality food

Solution: eat more veggies and less meat, like our ancestors used to do. Estensive farming costs too much if every human wants to eat meat at least once a day. If we went back to eat it once to twice a week like in the old days we could eat real good biological meat like in the good old days.
>Inb4 kys vegan.
I am not a vegan or a vegetarian. I don't care about animals, but i care about nature and us.
It's clear that we're too many and we have too high-level life standards.

Globalist scum. A real nationalist and conservative wants to live with nature in a sustainable manner, not extracting the most value out of it in the fastest way possible like it's just there for human consumption.

Eh cruel or no, cramming animals into close quarters is just plain fucking unclean and honestly produces an overall inferior product.

>humanity can produce proteins from vegetable today
I, uh, appreciate your interest for good food that isn't nuclear waste, but desu this sentence senpai...

>Why not? What grants humans moral consideration but not animals, especially those that can feel pain or possess some relative level of intelligence?
Humans evolved morality to better survive and reproduce. the urges for caring are heavily focused on facial recognition and are pretty vague. Big eyes, small mouth will usually trigger the compassion response.

>especially those that can feel pain or possess some relative level of intelligence?
It's just not the point of morality. You don't evolve traits that benefit species other than your own.

>Just because our nature is a certain way doesn't mean it's moral.
Yes it does. That's where we get our morals from.

>Because we have less reason to believe they possess an adequate amount of intelligence or subjective experience (consciousness) especially with regards to suffering.
So what? Nothing has any experience of suffering once its dead. It can suffer for eons and when it dies it's like it never happened as far as the rest of the universe is concerned.

Not in Canada you aren't. Go marry a moose or something

this guy is full of shit

It's true. Swedes eat big black meat raw.

halal = high standards?

>Does that mean we need to elevate a pig to the legal status of that of a human? No. Does that mean we should not abuse an animal even though we can? Absolutely.
Define abuse, because ultimately we kill our food animals and it's hard to imagine a greater abuse than that.

You're talking about grazing animals, retard. There's plenty of grazelands for them to graze, you grazing-tier animal. That's not the grazeland. That's the feed lot. You know, for off-seasons.

Kinda makes you wish that we didn't trip at the fucking finish line and properly enslaved the third world. We'd be eating all the meat we like while the chinks, niggers and other muds would be making due with shit porridge and rice.

youre a fucking globalist cucklord. of course local meat is better, but youre just spouting the old "sweden is best at everything" trope. the average swedish steak is not of good quality. most cattle get unnatural healthy diet, they are not wholly grassfed. it's practically impossible to find pasture-raised chicken and eggs in this country even in the summer. i bet you eat shit like non-organic potatoes too, poisoning yourself and the environment like a motherfucker

>which one would you rather eat.

neither. eating animal products is degenerate unless your in a survival scenario. even hitler knew this. grow up you fucking nigger. stop letting your gut bacterium make your decisions and stop destroying your lymph system.

>checks flag

How much production per acre in intensive farming vs right?

the cheaper one

>Efficient food production hurts my feelings, let's make food more expensive!
Champagne socialists and limousine liberals like you guys should be shot and ditched in a mass grave. You don't deserve a life in the prosperous society you live in.

If you bitch about how "cruel" it is to the animals maybe you should try thinking how your unnecessary faggotry is going to affect to people in the lower classes of society who often can barely afford quality food.

Bullshit. We are merely the only species of animal capable of navel-gazing.

And we sure do love that form of indulgence, but the world is a ruthlessly pragmatic construct.

"Being better than that" is our own futile construct.
