If I recall, he never personally met with Assange, leading me to believe the files were transferred digitally to Wikileaks. He did have the physical files on him when he left though. That was his insurance to get into whatever country he was going to, which ended up being China then Russia.

The strangest thing about the media reporting the Seth Rich case is that outlets like CNN are saying that the investigator only heard that Rich was in contact with Wikileaks via the news agency itself. In reality, if you watch his interviews, the investigator claims he has no proof that Rich was in contact with Wikileaks, however, he has a source inside the FBI, that he has vetted, who claims that the FBI is in possession of Rich's computer and there's evidence Rich provided the leaks
Instead of reading someone's opinion of the news, why don't you get the information from the source yourself?
