You can only post in this thread if your space agency is leading

Russia - only country regularly sending people in space

China - second country in the world able to send people into space

ESA - leading space agency for commercial space launches

JAXA - bestest Japanese space agency

>leading your country nowhere that is

>we shouldn't bother crossing this ocean
>there's nothing on the other side
>and nothing out there except more water

Robots replaced our astronauts. Everyday I see many homeless astronauts begging on the streets. Very sad.

>sending people into space

Lol what's wrong, can't afford robots faggots?

>China is already trying to claim the moon for their own

Doubt they can even legally do this. Law states no country can do shit like this or claim ownership of any celestial body including the moon.

They're going to start the first space war if they even try.

Robots replaced your astronauts? Jesus, your economy is really tanking, isn't it?

once you are in space you are just about unassailable though. just chuck rice at anyone who disagrees with you

Apparently China isn't aware that there is a UFO base on the back side of the moon. The US stopped going to the moon for a reason

It is ok, Europe and China are communist countries, we will share.

China's space station is in the process of an uncontrolled free-fall right now, they lost control of the station at some point and it's gonna fall from the sky somewhere later this year.

The US had a functioning space station in the fucking 1970's

>implying you don't want a space war

kek
glad you realized that

...

America should have one, who cares about the legality? The law is by the U.N., who are nothing but a circus with no real power. Think about it, who is going to enforce the laws to prevent us from claiming these bodies? Once we got up there, who has the capability to go up and remove us?

...

The Space Treaty is just a treaty, as soon as anyone actually has the capability to enforce their claims in space the treaty will be updated to deal with space property.

Until a space colony is self-sufficient, it would be very easy to blockade them by intercepting supplies

That would be an act of war though, shit on earth would get super messy

Sorry Polen.
