I'm a teacher now - physics and general science.
Manchester is about 40 miles from where I live. About an hour by car. I have family there. I hope this doesn't sound callous; I'm used to explosions.
What impact will this have on my life? - nothing. There's the key issue; for sure I'm sad that children were massacred. And as a dad, I can understand to some degree the loss. I lost my wife to an undiagnosed heart illness. Here today, gone tomorrow.
