Atheism just like communism is an anti-human concept. As human beings with limited lifespans, our brains do not work properly if we believe that all our actions are ultimately for nothing and we will die anyway. Many then turn to nihilism which causes little participation in life and a general tolerance towards injustice because "nothing matters anyway" It is a ((plot)) to make us weak by using so called ((logic)) to confuse us into inaction and depression. Is it logical to be depressed? Of course not. But ((they)) want you to believe that there is no other option, just like ((they)) want you to believe that there is no other option than to take immigrants. Believing in God is an option, stop letting the elites make you think that it's some ridiculous thing that nobody should do. Atheists are like homosexuals, a disease. A certain vulnerable caste of society keeps falling prey to this disease, they never reach more than a couple percent of the population. Science cannot make anybody immortal, at some point even a perfect machine will have a failure and you will die. Rememeber this. I'm making this post in an attempt to cure atheists.
What sane, healthy human being would choose to be depressed and live a life of superficial ((logic)) when you can choose a life of purpose and honest work instead?
I will admit one thing however: if you live an easy/successful life, no diseases, no big hardships, people were always kinda good to you then it's hard to justify religious belief. But the second that your life goes bad, you will falter and die. We see suicides by unbelievers all the time, who lose their girlfriends and then suddenly they lose purpose because they never had real faith to prop them up in times of hardship.
You do not have to be part of any religion. Just believing in a higher power can be good enough. You can make up your own personal God. There is no rule or law about this.

similar story. /cg/ general threads that concentrated on theist arguments instead of infighting were hugely beneficial to me, especially when they discussed how to pray, great passages within the Bible to start with, and just seeing the contrast between believers and atheists there and in my daily life.

Monogamy, God and our systems of law are all /technology/ that separates us from animals. We invented these things to maximize our human productivity and stability. Remember also: God can easily exist. Some kind of God in some form is very much in the realm of possibility, in fact, some might say that it is common sense to believe that [something exists] -> [something made it]. God might be an alien. God might be some consciousness from another dimension. God might exist in any number of ways. Scientists now say we are all part of a simulation. Yet they think God is "ridiculous". Don't fall for this crap again. God helps you appreciate everything you do every day, even if nobody sees it. It's a brain hack. Just treat it like that. Look, religious people arent stupid. It's a faith based system. But look at this from a climate change perspective: Even if God didnt exist and you find out after you died... you lived a great life. You lost nothing and you gained everything while you were alive.
