Decline of the Middle Class

Serious discussion on this.

The way I understand it, if technology keeps advancing the middle class will just disappear due to becoming economically unneeded, unfortunately. There will be very advance jobs in managing robots and then there will be absolute shit jobs where employing a human is more cost efficient than employing a machine. We like to talk about the (((sabotage of the middle class))) and such but can we really blame the advance of technology? Is there a viable economic way to ensure the middle class stays, if it hasn't disappeared already?

What will post-industrial society we are heading for look like? What would be the most ideal future if we could possibly turn it around?

Basically Star Trek

Remember how in the 80's people said there will be flying cars by year 2000?

Forget about it, there will be no post-industrial society when white race will be genocided.

Middle class has been dead for years. Debt slavery just kept the illusion alive.

So what will it look like? Debt slavery can't last forever, it has to collapse eventually.

3D printers will make a headway, that is the closest we can get to post-industrial society I guess. Can't make the promise to predict anything further than that, our shit is gonna collapse soon after.

Adapt to living off the grid before it's too late

There may not be enoufh rare earth minerals for the entire planet to become automized

Have faith in that

Either we find a way for everyone to live a life when every primal need is fulfilleddue to cost per unit falling so fast and wages per unit collapsing or we keep getting fatter and slower and more desperate for some meaning.
Maybe religion will make a comeback

but there's a fixed price ceiling for rare earth materials once you start extracting from seawater for instance. It doesn't just go up and up

That's not eliminating the midde class, it's just eliminating the lower middle class.

The upper middle class is already shit like software developers, program managers, architects, etc.

The lower middle class is much bigger than the upper middle class.

Don't worry about it, everyone's gonna get a VR headset, haptic feedback pelvic pump, and monthly rations of soylent and government cheese

The only way to solve this is to artificially limit productivity.

This appears to be some unfathomable heresy because (((They))) have brainwashed you into believing that technology must always advance, when in reality it's the same idea as limiting waste dumping into a river.

Unfortunately people won't realize this until the middle class is being exterminated as unnecessary.

Yeah, so?

The way to solve the problem is to let natural selection take it's course.

Anyone who doesn't jew up and make sure their kids get an engineering degree or a PhD is not a good parent. Period.

>Unfortunately people won't realize this until the middle class is being exterminated as unnecessary.

Been going on for 30 years. 2008 was the ultimate breaking point. Middle class lost everything, wealthy got a bailout. The middle class is a lie, it's merely shades of poor.

Yes I agree with that sentiment, but there comes a point where having nothing but an underclass and a power small upper class is just wrong. That's not a natural state like you would expect with natural selection, overall the quality of the human population gets decreased.

that's only going to help for 20 or so years.

It's not education that matters, it's raw intelligence. Your average programmer will be obsolete once the right tech is developed. Only people with IQ> 130 or so are safe for the foreseable future and even they will be obsolete in a few generations.

I'm not so sure.

The day to day life of the lower class is getting better even as the lower class is getting more poor and less economically viable.

Eventually if we reach a tipping point we'll implement basic guarenteed income, or means tested free food and medical care, or something like that in all first world countries, just so that the poor won't kill and eat us.

Then we live in either Captain Harlock, or Star Trek. I'm hoping Star Trek, but I assume it's Harlock.

>guaranteed income
>being a slave to the system
>the government can decide to either let you live or cut you off

That's dystopian.

It's not getting better. At least in the US life expectancy is declining for poor and middle class whites. Everything is relative when it comes to quality of life. People need purpose in life, when that purpose gets cut off they lose direction and become increasingly neurotic.

And I have to agree with this user hereThere's no doubt that the quality of life has improved beyond measure the last 200 years for the average human, but that's actually a cloak over what's actually been declining; overall satisfaction and fulfillment in life. Life was much harder in the past but it at least had more purpose, there was a golden mean that the West hit post WWII and before the 70s in terms of quality of life and overall fulfillment. Now the value of the average person has declined, suicide rates are up, drug use is up, depression is up. Things are "better" but people are sadder.

>Is there a viable economic way to ensure the middle class stays, if it hasn't disappeared already?
Yeah, we start training people to be technicians for said robots.

You know in 1980 you could make $25 for working in a factory and stitching shoes together?

Those people making $9/hour at walmart isn't the middle class disappearing, it's a long time needed readjustment for the quality of worker to the pay and responsibility they receive and are held accountable for.

As another user said, anyone who doesn't make their kid get an engineering degree is a failure as a parent, aside from that this is merely career darwinism.

Fixed

Lower middle class cucks look super trashy these days. Those are some rough women!

kek thanks

You have the end result correct but not the process

>Technology replaces the lower class
>Lower class no longer works and lives off gibs
>Lower class demands more gibs or revolt
>Upper class gains power by turning to socialism (either by military force or election)
>Socialism kills the middle class

One of the goals of marxists is the Cloward-Piven strategy. They want to destroy the middle class to force people onto welfare to overwhelm the government and bankrupt it. I tried to find a good youtube video about it. All I could find is Glenn Beck, so sorry about that.

the decline of the middle class is a good thing. people were too comfortable for too long and it led to this shit. it's always the middle class who campaign for (((their))) agenda. we need the economy and the middle class to collapse right now so we can finally start our civil war, remove (((their))) influence and THEN we can finally live in peace in our natsoc ethnostates.

You want the plot of Elysium to happen?

no i'd much rather be slaughtered by zulus.

what the fuck is your problem? how can a boer STILL not support segregation?

What gave you the impression I don't?
