Us and wars

Serious question: Have the US ever actually won a war?

Before you say anything: Coming in fresh to a years-long conflict in the final few months when all other sides are hollowed out shells doesn't count.

Yes. Desert Storm

A quarter of the world's GDP with 4% of its population.

Has Sweden won anything ever since the empire fell?

Mexican war, Spanish war, war of 1813, ww2 vs Japan, Desert Storm, desert storm 2.0

Big talk coming from a country that hasnt fought a war since the 1800s

We won the war when we gained independence from Britain.
Cant count the Civil War
Both World Wars count because yes we came in late but those wars couldn't have been won without our intervention so while you're busy prepping your bull just remember America fought to defend your refugee cuckery

>Have the US ever actually won a war?
Why the fuck don't you think we're not part of Britain anymore?

What the fuck is history?

Addendum: Attacking a nation that is armed with wooden spears when you have tanks does not count as a victory.

You can't win a war before you exist. British separatists won that war.

In that case all revolutions that resulted in new countries weren't wars and were not fought by the countries.

We existed the day we said enough was enough. A piece of paper doesn't make you a country, a people with the same thought process and call to action does.

Also, if it weren't for us being called in by the Zionists, WWI looked really fucking bleak for Europe.

Ok, then every country gets one. So you have one, like everyone else, which is the same as zero.

America IS the war

>Implying USA weren't totally irrelevent in WW1

War of 1812
Spanish American War
WWII Pacific Side
Texas alone best Mexico.....

Have a nice day.

This is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever fucking read in my entire fucking life. You truly just like believing whatever you want don't you. I bet you're a Liberal.

Yeah but how much of that GDP is in goys' hand?

Both wars were on the final rung and were about to be finished anyway, and then you roll in just to fuck up one side a bit extra for some reason. You literally did nothing to impact the general outcome of both world wars.

If you hadn't intervened in WW1 then it would probably have ended in a stalemate cease-fire and the world would have been better off (no WW2). If you hadn't intervened in WW2 then the Soviets would have won eventually anyway, Germany was a ghost at the time you arrived.

You really want to see a Europe where the Iron Curtain contained France? If not, thank the US for trying to save Europe from Communism.

Honestly, eastern europe is doing better than western europe is now, so that question is not as self-evident as you think.

The US won every war they started except the War on Drugs and the War on Terror. As opposed to what the media told you, the US actually won the Vietnam War but people were protesting about "muh peace" so the us did not follow up on the promises they made after the war so south vietnam got invaded.

>Eastern Europe is doing better than Western Europe now
Obvious troll.

>hanging on to a shred of dignity that you know you've already lost

They are still white. They still have a future for their people. We do not. Americanization was a mistake.

I will counter that they have lost every single real war they have partaken in, and Vietnam was objectively a 100% loss.

Why do you even care if we won these wars or not? Why are you so fixated on us? If you wanted dick you could've just said so.

Romanian bro bringing the rain. He knows what he's talking about because they made Vlad into a fucking monster when he just wanted to save his country. Kek be with you.

Serious questions:

1. Would the Soviet Union have prevailed without the Lend Lease program?

2. Would Japan have impacted what was happening in Europe if the US had not fought them in the Pacific?

3. Would the Brits have still prevailed in Italy without US assistance? If Italy had not been knocked out would they have had a bigger impact on supporting the Nazis?

Serious answer, although I'm not an expert by any means.

1) Toss up. The Germans might have been attritioned to death, the Soviets may have been unable to get anywhere.

2) Probably. If they attacked the Soviets then I reckon that the Germans might have been able to pull off at least a stalemate and cease-fire.

3) Dunno

This is what Lend Lease brought to the Soviets:

The United States sold to the Soviet Union from October 1, 1941 to May 31, 1945 the following: 427,284 trucks, 13,303 combat vehicles, 35,170 motorcycles, 2,328 ordnance service vehicles, 2,670,371 tons of petroleum products (gasoline and oil) or 57.8 percent of the High-octane aviation fuel,4,478,116 tons of foodstuffs (canned meats, sugar, flour, salt, etc.), 1,911 steam locomotives, 66 Diesel locomotives, 9,920 flat cars, 1,000 dump cars, 120 tank cars, and 35 heavy machinery cars. Provided ordnance goods (ammunition, artillery shells, mines, assorted explosives) amounted to 53 percent of total domestic production. One item typical of many was a tire plant that was lifted bodily from the Ford Company's River Rouge Plant and transferred to the USSR. The 1947 money value of the supplies and services amounted to about eleven billion dollars.

This is estimated to have been enough to support 60 US equivalent combat divisions. Would the Soviets really have had enough material production means to stave off the Nazi invasion and then push all the way to Berlin, without US support? I think one could easily argue the Germans could have easily just rolled right over an under funded / equipped Soviet army. Even Stalin himself is quoted as saying that the only reason they won was because of Lend Lease.
