Well for one I think government should have NO SAY in marriage. However religions should be recognized and be given freedom and rights. Therefore gay meeting places or churches should have been made. I don't care if you worship your buttholes. And then under freedom of religion, your church can marry you, or any other denomination that cares to as well.
No government except to recognize marriage as a religions institution, and any formal religion has rights in that regard. This allows gays to make their own marriages, their own thing, their own traditions, all of it. Don't like government in marriage. And if a religion wants to marry gays? That's in the constitution. No new laws need be written. No on can do shit about it. A very good way of going about it.
As for adoption, there's no choice in the matter. Say a woman is raising her son and she dies and her only family is her brother who's gay. And she wishes for her brother to adopt. The state can't tear the family apart in this situation. And as far as pregnant mothers go, wishing to give their child for adoption, she should be able to give it to fucking Swamp Thing that lives in the Louisiana bayou if that's what she just REALLY thinks is best. And that's all there is to that.

Most of the things that traditional Western morality regards as being wrong, homosexuals do WAY more than straight people. It's not my opinion, feel free to google the statistics. Also, while it is true that not all homosexuals share the same ideology (fashion designers Dolce and Gabanna for example said gay marriage is a just a way of annoying religious people, which it mostly is), people judge social groups by the narrative upheld by their most prominent members. And the homosexual community's most prominent members are extremely left-wing.
I personally consider homosexuality a sin, a mental disorder and gay marriage a socially worthless construct. But I don't mind gay people doing their business and thinking of themselves as regular folk having regular lives if they just leave me alone to believe whatever I want to believe about them. Forcing me to act in support of their degeneracy (think for example about the people who were sued for not baking a wedding cake for a gay couple) or forbidding me to openly express my disagreement (because now everything is "hate speech") crosses the line, and sadly it is what most gay people I've met do. So that's why I'm against all the "LGBTQJSJFKNS" agenda BS, even though I could be friends with a good person who also happens to be gay.
