It's extremely depressing what's happened to North & East London though. Cockneys (and Londoners in general) are a dying breed with white flight from the city and immigrant population replacement. The accents and customs are being completely neutralised. I grew up there in the 90's, the PC multiculturalism was bad then and it's unrecognizable now.
I hope it can be reversed but it will take something drastic and long-term.
