There isn't a problem with music, there's a problem with how its perceived.
Music is a powerful way to subtlety influence how you feel, the way we bond with other people just for liking similar music, is akin to a religion.
In fact I've heard some people refer to enjoying music as a modern way of having a 'religious experience'. I do believe this is the case, albeit in a minor sense, as religion is often paired with musical performances or certain sounds.
You may have heard how churches are set up in such a way to give excellent acoustics. This isn't a coincidence.
The 'wrongness' of listening to music, is taking something that is powerful, in it's levels of influence and turning it into something banal.
In a way, music is much stronger than any drug, while at the same time underestimated.

Nothing is wrong with listening to music as long as it's not filth that poisons your ideology or weakens your will toward the path to degeneracy. That said, you should also spend listening time on helpful audiobooks and podcasts to keep yourself knowledgeable and up-to-date.
