Currently, no. We neither have the technological skill nor the social framework to "cure" a pedophile's desires. It's like asking a truly gay man to be straight by threatening electroshock therapy, which doesn't do jack shit in any long run. To "cure" a pedophile's desires, you'd have to rewire the brain, which really isn't doable easily, cheaply, or effectively. The damage won't be repaired, and side effects would still occur.
You can, however, minimize tendency to act on said desires via counseling sessions and psychology. Kind of like rewarding a kid two marshmellows for not eating one while the parent's back was returned, except the marshmellows are replaced with other pleasing activities to a person that overrides natural attraction to minors.
Throwing a pedophile in jail/prison doesn't really solve the problem either. You don't get them psychological help in said enviroments, and inmates are inherently biased to innate amounts against them. Plus, putting them in prison for life is a serious money drain, if you want to do life imprisonment, then you waste money, support some violence, and cause little change. This does however mean that they aren't death sentenced, and can still converse with family, so it's not entirely bad.
