Trump is doing what no US president in recent memory (possibly since the dawn of the 20th century, but let's say since the beginning of the 21st) has done. Simply put, he ran on a campaign platform that goes against a variety of globalist agendas and won. Ron Paul was flagrant with an anti-establishment policy, so much so that the media ridiculed and marginalized him in both of his 2008 and 2012 campaigns. Berniebros who don't have their heads up Hillary's ass can also draw similar lines between how the media portrayed Sanders and how they treated Ron Paul. Trump, however, took a more conservative approach, but is still contrarian enough to garnish so much slander from mainstream media across the western world. They couldn't marginalize him during the primaries because he practically forced his presence unto the political stage with his resources - both social and monetary. Remember all the GOP backlash during the primary season last year? It only subsided, and not even entirely, when it became clear that El Rato was not going to win.

Compound this with the fact that he is probably the only US President except for maybe 3 or 4 other ones that isn't related to previous Presidents or European Monarchs, and you have your answer as to why there is so much manufactured hatred.
