Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity...

>Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity, according to a new report published by Oxfam today to mark the annual meeting of political and business leaders in Davos.

>Oxfam’s report, ‘An economy for the 99 percent’, shows that the gap between rich and poor is far greater than had been feared. It details how big business and the super-rich are fuelling the inequality crisis by dodging taxes, driving down wages and using their power to influence politics. It calls for a fundamental change in the way we manage our economies so that they work for all people, and not just a fortunate few.

"Yeah Goyim, the solution is wealth redistribution! Not the Jews who are behind all problems that ever existed heheheh you should kill rich people and start a People's Revolution! That'll work great!"

>How can you not support wealth distribution Sup Forums?

If you take all the money from all the rich people and give to somebody else, the rich people will simply stop producing wealth. And when they do, the billions of people relying on them for their livelihoods will starve.

Welcome to capitalism, goy.

The world will change once we start taxing wealth instead of earnings.

The rich got money. The poor dont.

2 options:

The rich want more money, so they spend more in the hope to earn more. The money is distributed as salaries in the form of a budget and the poor can accept the work to earn that money. Get some skills in it and eventually decide to use their own earned money to create their own company and make more money and hire people to earn more money.

2nd option:

Take the money of the rich, distribute it equally among all people. Everyone has 200 bucks to spend. And no-one has money to spend on the creation of a company.
Economic collapse.

What all those leftie """researchers""" fail to show is how the poorest of the poor right now actually have more purchasing power and live better than they used to in the past before global markets were a thing.

Yes, the rich did get filthy rich, and do possess the vast majority of capital. However, since markets are not a zero-sum game, this also means that people below them live better, too. The issue observed here is relative poverty, not objective one.

but the jews ARE the rich people

I guess maybe you should stop buying things from rich people and the corporations in which they invest. Y'know, do your part.

RESPECT THE HIERARCHY BITCH!

Who gives a shit about poor ranjeets and poor niggers anyway?

>implying the super rich are hoarding all those billions and that money is not actually out there providing jobs, investments etc.

yeah just ban the rich and see what happens

you know all this talk about populism? this is some grade A populism bullshit to speak to emotion, nothing else

Protip: if you own a house and don't live in a shithole you're probably second from the top.

Because it's a fucking Commie pipe dream.

bingo.

there are people who think a guy like warren buffet opens up his wallet and has a billion dollars in it. these are his assets. he has stock. he has investments. his "wealth" is based on the value and projected value of all those investments.

those investments create jobs, they build stuff. his money is tied into them. same goes for the rest of the mega-rich. and it's also not a "pie" where they've taken the whole thing, by the way.

We do support it. The hard way.

All men are not created equal. Some are born swifter afoot, some with greater beauty. Some are born into poverty; and others are born sick and feeble. Both in birth and in upbringing, in sheer scope of ability, every human is inherently different! Yes, that is why people discriminate against one another, which is why there is struggle, competition, and the unfaltering march of progress! Inequality is not wrong, equality is!

Inequality's not even a real problem. It's just jealousy.

i feel bad for him too desu :(

HAHAHAHAHA

seriously who gives a fuck? what has some poor subsaharan nigger done to deserve that level of wealth? fuck off you socialist kike

This model is inaccurate in a few ways.

>Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity,

>Eight men have created more jobs, wealth and opportunity than the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity,

FTFY

Are you even trying? Do you even get out of bed before noon?

>people thinking money has any real value
If you take their wealth, everything will get a lot more expensive.

>8 rich men own as much as 3.6 billion niggers
literally nothing, i bet the average chink like me adds up to a couple million niggers too

Because they earned that through smart work and sacrifice.

>How can you not support wealth distribution Sup Forums?

ok, distribute all that wealth amongst everyone, 1 day later everyone is poor, including the former 8 richest people

It's like if you totally redistribute Walmart CEO's income to literally every employee the wages will go up by a whopping 2 cents.

Only people below middle class support it.

Ask anyone, "Which do you prefer?
1. You get $50 and I get $50.
2. You get $55 and I get $1000.
3. You get $45 and I get $5.?

Their answer will tell you how much of a commie they are. There is one answer that is the most rational. But the other two will probably be justified appeals to emotion, fairness, power, etc.

The economy as a pie and wealth as a zero-sum game is a (((myth))) that needs to be eradicated.

>1% growth rate
>non-zero

Looks like you replied to the wrong post user. I was in agreement about the (((myth))) being perpetuated that the economy is a pie and a zero-sum game.

Because I can guarantee you that none of those 3.6 billion are from the countries those eight men live in.

>bu bu bub but m h mu muh capitaliissm u u u ur ju just a gommy!!!!

yeah theres clearly a problem with these money hoarding kikes.

Oy vey goy we give you everything!! now stfu and get back to work!

>Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity

If we are going by wealth, first-worlders are the poorest people around since many have more negative net worth (debt) than whole third-world villages have in wealth.

Try reading this chapter of this book and tell me if you still think wealth redistribution makes sense:
