> and my specific retort is that if house prices have increased in cost as a fraction of income by 6-8 times since the 1950s, it doesn't matter how (((cheap))) it is to buy your council house through right to buy, because all that did was get a load more suckers into the pyramid scheme that is UK real estate. The crackshacks you see going for £150k are the reality of this, and millennials either can't or won't get on the ladder at this low of a rung. it's time to build more houses, raise wages so people can afford to buy, and stop landlords from being such fucking parasites. Inheriting a couple of flats off your daddy through pure luck is not a legitimate reason to make £14k a year in profit.
Am i the only one who cant stand this "le praise kek" and sargon of akkad and just general yank shit

She didn't even try to hide it, why did it work? Why is the British public so dense?
Luis Diaz
Why didn't you listen?

The "praise kek" stuff in general got old like half a year ago. The kekistan shite is even worse, especially when I see it plastered all over Twatter. At this point I post solely in brit/pol/ just to avoid that type of cancer.

Capitalism ended years ago? What do you mean?
Bentley Ortiz
It all went wrong with WW2. We're just a once proud nation that's rotting away in a ditch
William Kelly
Not every job is a 9-5 Mon-Fri Monopolies formed, money hoarded, lobbying rampant, free market restricted to shit. I'm not opposed to legislation to protect certain aspects but the amount of tape is absurd. It's more just another notch in the life cycle of capitalism.
Asher Perry
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU ATE A BURGER!!!!???

That was a mistake too, but WW2 massively accelerated our demise and gave total control to the J*ws

It's not that it was a mistake, but that the truth about it was supressed so we never fully got to terms with the fact that our elites hate us and see us as utterly disposable. We should have hung them from the lamposts in 1918.
Brandon Garcia
I dunno, the comments on there are infuriating. It's about time YouTube went away and something better replaced it. Why not a British government controlled version that only focuses on tolerance and diversity?
Jason Ross
In terms of investment. None. Property I suppose in aspect of wanting to own a house but I'm waiting for better financial conditions before venturing into that. In regards to the rest don't have the savings nor financial flexibility to enter markets in that sense.

I'm still not understanding this "free market restricted to shit" the only reason there are so few brands around is because they are either better or cheaper than the competitors. You can still enter these markets fine as a small business so long as you're not signing supplier contracts or anything too large too quick. Property is a bitch but remember that Clinton era attempted to let everyone have houses by laxing up the banks investments and guaranteeing their debt on risky clients which got piled up together and sold in percentages to banks and you know the rest.
Mason Watson
there's a pdf up somewhere. it's the definitive book on capitalism.
me and me gf were talking about it and we agreed terrorism is mostly bad because they're not killing the right people. i would totally understand if an iraqi took out blair, he's got it coming. leave the rest of us alone. good morning to the boys and girls at gchq

We know she had to be a big lefty. Lets see if she was one of those cucks like pic related that was inviting her muslim killers into the west.
am i the only one that thinks shitting on a just dead person for cheap points is kinda scummy?
okay you got me, it was me mam
Adrian Jackson
They keep talking about online terror and the problems it tasks us with. They want to lax up governmental restrictions to look at peoples data during terror investigations (they got blue-balled by WhatsApp after the first London terror attack) but the loose wording in the manifesto means that they could have a mandate to do all sorts of Orwellian shit I.e. ban tor, darkweb access, regulate what people can and can't see, ban encryption is another one that is going around. I'm fairly certain the manifesto said that it should be as hard to see porn online as it is in real life. They have also had mps say this sorts of bollocks as well. (Whether or not they'll do this no one knows) In all honesty all of that stuff would be so hard to implement that that it would be very unlikely they'd do it and I personally think they just keep the charade about the internet up to pay lip service to pensioners.
>ban tor, darkweb access, regulate what people can and can't see, ban encryption Right, but anyone under the age of 65 knows these things are impossible.
Jacob Hughes

That's why for the majority of it I think they're just paying lip service to pensioners. I would expect to see another expansion in the investigatory powers act though which is proper shit. But remember that all this stuff started from an independent article quoting an anonymous source from buzzfeed.
M8 were up to our necks in it now but with Corbyn we'd be six feet under. You know that when he said this today, his original speech was to criticise our shoot to kill policy but then the terror attack happened and had to change it.
